    My mate is a member of Nottinghamshire Golf Club.

    He contacted me this morning to say the talk around the club was of their owner, Alan Hardy, putting together a consortium to buy Scunthorpe United FC.

    Nothing that hasn’t already been said in the media though, but the word consortium in an interesting one!

    When Hardy was first mentioned on twitter it was stated he would be part for a consortium. I hope he hurries up though as the monthly wages are due shortly.
