We’ve all known for a long time that it was coming.
    It is, what it is.

In decades to come people will remember this man’s legacy; he can run whatever narrative he want, but ultimately he’s the man who’s brought the club near to extinction. He should hang his head in shame.

To put things into perspective, Bury owed them £50,000 when they went bust.

    Nowhere near 600k is owed.
    Significantly less.

May I compliment Mr Peter Swann – a new 1st.

No previous Chairman has EVER been served with a WINDING UP ORDER. So congratulations.

Glanford park cost 2.5 million pounds to build 64 but don’t let the truth get in the way.

Being wrong is not playing fast and loose with the truth,it’s just being wrong. It’s not an accusation of anything I was making ,just pointing out how inflation and monetary value has changed over the years .I will correct myself and will state that we had or were reputed to have a £600k excess from the sale of OSG after the build
Hardly worthy of your snotty reply,no need to be so touchy,we all make mistakes, look at you, never been right!

As a Southend fan I sympathise with your situation, we face a winding up order on the 18th, it’s close to our 20th winding up order, (still unbeaten vs HMRC), as long as the HMRC have a reasonable expectation to get paid in full they will adjourn.

If however they have no realistic expectation to recover the debt they may be more aggressive.

This winding up order will put you under an embargo in this league, hopefully your takeover can go through and you can clear the debt.

Swann will let this club go under, just as I said and then He’ll still have the land and the assets to sell on. I see the offer, presumably by the Scunthorpe based consortium has been turned down already. The offer was only put it on Monday morning.

The way Swann’s playing hardball I’m not convinced he’s ever going to sell the club.

No embargo in the restaurant for Saturday.

Wheels are coming off of the wagon faster than a Ferrari pit stop – yet the restaurant are still peddling their fodder on Twitter 🤷‍♂️

It says an initial offer, that’s either somebody other then Simon and Ian or it refers to the first offer they put in going back a bit which was rejected at the time. That’s if I’m understanding it all correctly and if so the bit about further offers to follow refers hopefully to just Simon and Ian, fingers 🤞

On saturday Simon Elliott in interview with Ollie Turner of Humberside said they would put a new offer in on Monday. So I assume that is what has just been turned down.

Not just Swann turning down Ian and Simons offer’s then, time to get a serious bid in. Ps a simple admission of you been wrong would have sufficed 64.

Bookies are (currently) no longer offering a price for SUFC to be relegated.

It would appear to be GAME OVER to them!

2.5m from Safeways and 2.1 to build GP isn’t it?

You lads have a season ticket for the Courts don’t you… intial thought was we will find the money and shuffle on but i don’t see where we find the rumoured 600k from.

    This is horrible!

Christ Sir Otiose, when I read your post that “Bookies have already reacted”, I thought that you were saying that William Hill and Ladbrookes had put a bid in to buy the football club, pity this is not the case, simply because Swann has never EVER got the better of these people!!!!.

So this is the next step towards what I have been saying all season, Swann has no intention of keeping the club afloat, and IT will be another of his evil moves against the Scunny Supporters who he hates.

Derby had this happen to them, and are still under embargo’s and penalties etc, two years later, and they have a fan base of 30,000 compared with our remaining 3,000, this is the next step heading towards the end!!.

DO YOU NOT HAVE ANY COMMENT AWAYWEGO99 !!!!!!!!!!!!!
