Sounds like we have a goalie!
Good win.
Great to hear how Wilson ran rings around ’em after coming on as a late sub.
Davis and Millen did not play. Head injury will probably mean Davis will be fit if needed at Grantham.
Millen is not going to be even close to match fitness.2 users thanked author for this post.
July 31, 2021 at 5:23 pm #211168But no sign of Jarvis or Hippo, loans out imminent? KDT self isolating for 9 months?

July 31, 2021 at 5:29 pm #211171Good win.
Two wins out of three against L1 opposition is an encouraging sign.
I would expect the XI who started today to start against Swindon.

July 31, 2021 at 5:40 pm #211173As best as I can tell – young Pugh has also done well today.

Two wins out of three against League1 teams, I thought we lost against Hull and Lincoln !!!
Les—–Who is the player “Wilson”, any info on where he is from, and age etc?
July 31, 2021 at 10:35 pm #211184League 1 teams BS League 1 teams, your really showing your age now, perhaps it’s time to call it a day on here, like you have with watching Scunthorpe.

July 31, 2021 at 10:47 pm #211186BS – Hull are a Championship team. Burton, Lincoln and Wimbledon are L1 teams, we beat Burton and Wimbledon and lost against Lincoln. Hope that clarifies things for you.
Cameron Wilson is one of our own, comes from Goole I believe. Was offered (and signed) a pro contract at the end of last season. I’m surprised that you haven’t heard of him.1 user thanked author for this post.

He’s been at the club for 7 years.
August 1, 2021 at 12:27 am #211191Keeper has a blinder. Wilson extracted the urine. Biggest surprise for me though is the form of Pugh at RB, looks natural playing there and played really well today too.
Only downside is Millen won’t be anywhere near ready but all in all, things have gone pretty well. If we get the 2 loans over the line, 1 winger and a striker….we’ll be ok.
August 1, 2021 at 3:00 am #211192Hi, BS. Cameron Wilson – 18 year old wide right, attacking player. Nippy, quick, gutsy, terrifies defenders, has loadsa footballing ability.
Not scared of anybody.
Came to us from Goole some years ago. Now on his first pro contract.1 user thanked author for this post.

Watched Cameron Wilson in his 1st year in the U18s and when he joined the U23 squad.
He always had that commitment and competitive edge. Is not a ‘dirty’ player but he he will stand his ground. Loves to attack players can shoot with either foot plus takes good and on target free kicks.I would hope that those who are going this season get quite a few chances to see him. Other teams give chances and bigger clubs get to see how they cope before making a move. Tom Pugh will always give you 100%.

August 1, 2021 at 3:29 pm #211203I haven’t seen a tremendous amount of Harry Jessop, SF49, but I’d like to see him getting on regularly too.
August 1, 2021 at 4:31 pm #211208It will help our young prospects enormously to be surrounded by harder working and more committed role models than has been the case for 3 years.
Agree that Jessop, Wilson and Pugh look to have something. Collins also has a bit about him. Not seen enough of Shrimpton and Gallimore yet to have a view but it would be great if a number of these guys can follow O’Malley into building good careers for themselves.

August 1, 2021 at 10:19 pm #211213I suspect Wilson, Jessop, Shrimpton and Gallimore will get 90 mins against Grantham on Tuesday night. Davis will more than likely play a part with Rowe and others who need match fitness.
Perry definitely needs minutes.
August 1, 2021 at 10:23 pm #211214And the non-scoring strikers?
Surely they must be out of the incubator by now?

August 2, 2021 at 6:10 am #211218Someone capable of one goal in every four games is what I’d settle for now.
August 2, 2021 at 8:48 am #211219So…we have one or two prospects?
Which part of the site needs funds for building work, tarmac, or do we need some new seats?
Six months?
