July 16, 2024 at 9:28 am #288202All depends on Management decision in game 1. There are 2 approaches, 1 is we make teams react to what we do from kick off – and that philosophy has to be all season. Or 2 we react to what the opposition do and become a counter attack team and that is a style that accepts losses !
July 16, 2024 at 12:50 pm #288234Got to take games to the opposition from the off surely? Show intent and no respect for them.

July 16, 2024 at 1:40 pm #288239Despite a weaker squad ‘on paper’, there’s no reason we shouldn’t be amongst the favourites.
As previously stated, we’ve got to move the ball quicker and become more direct, taking the game to opponents rather than being content to sit with possession. Teams will still be arriving at our place and being content with sitting in for a draw, we’ve got to find novel ways of breaking them down.

July 16, 2024 at 4:24 pm #288245How many clubs will be expecting to finish above us?
July 16, 2024 at 7:18 pm #288255With those 2 signings tonight our chances have significantly increased
July 16, 2024 at 8:56 pm #288258Play offs, but probably lower end of them (4th to 7th) so an additional play off game and no home advantage if we progress.
Not expecting promotion unfortunately.
Hoping Andy Butler proves me wrong!!
Don’t think he willJuly 17, 2024 at 10:01 am #288281I hope the fella with the neck tattoos is better than the last one, Jack King.
July 25, 2024 at 12:09 pm #288648Buxton
I’m going to have an ew punt on them.
I’ve no idea what price they are?
[ 25/1 – just looked it up ]15 players departed – 10 new arrivals
Average age of departures is 27.
Average age of arrivals is 21.A 24 man squad.
July 25, 2024 at 12:17 pm #288650I commented on another channel that i have a sneaky feeling Buxton will be up there this coming season ..
As well as what you mention Rene a new manager and now full time

July 25, 2024 at 12:19 pm #288652Would make for an even tastier away trip near seasons end
July 25, 2024 at 7:33 pm #288688July 25, 2024 at 10:02 pm #288692No idea, the fun* lies in finding out.
*fun not guaranteed.
July 26, 2024 at 3:59 am #288695Buxton each way (top 3 finish)
£72.50 back if they finish second or third.
A seasons entertainment for less than the cost of one Indian meal at the local Punjabi Palace.
Tasty wager Rene .. hope it comes in for you …………..each way obviously and Scunny are above Buxton !!!.. sorry forgot to take mi meds this morning n still a bit unstable hence that ridiculous prediction.

Have the players realised that the Board aren’t going to sack Stan and have now committed to going all out to win the league?

No the players are showing their true form when played in their correct positions in a shape they are comfortable with which in turns gets the best out of them.

January 1, 2025 at 5:33 am #296373If we’d not lingered in that wretched trough for several months – you wouldn’t have seen us now for all the dust in our wake.
January 1, 2025 at 8:39 am #296376Let’s hope yesterday wasn’t a flash in the pan and that we kick on & up.
January 1, 2025 at 9:41 am #296382A lot of things during a season are dependent on form, fitness, injury and suspension but playing the system employed yesterday with the players who were available proved you can be successful on a regular basis then the old five at the back routine. There was more passing, intelligent running off the ball and just a general sharpness in our play that has been missing possibly since the Kidderminster home win, the first half was a joy to watch, the second was how to manage your players and a game that was already won, long may it continue.

January 1, 2025 at 8:59 pm #296423A lot of attention been focused on the supporters club thread today, understandable but Rushall winning at Kidderminster today is a cracking result for us, just a shame Curzon bagged a win at Alfreton and with Brackley winning away at Oxford , Saturdays big game just got bigger, things starting to brew up nicely now.
