Just out of curiosity, does anyone think Swann will say anything now that he’s handed over the reigns? Make an apology? Oh, I nearly made myself laugh there. Or will he skulk off to never be heard from again?

He shouldn’t be allowed to get involved with any other football club. That’s for sure.

As for hearing from him, I’d rather hear from ex managers, players etc. perhaps they can shed some light on what he did to our club.

I would definitely like to hear from Paul Hurst and Neil Cox now. I don’t expect them to open up, but it would be very interesting.

I would imagine many will be too wary of receiving solicitors letters to say too much. Hope I’m wrong.

If people speak out with the truth then involving solicitors would be a waste of time and money. Could still be some gagging orders in place?

People need to remember this site will be watched. So be careful what you type, pick your words very carefully.

And nothing about the ego would surprise me.

I doubt it, nor would I want too.

It possibly would be all from his point of view and how he is not the villain that he has been portrayed to be.

All I have judged against are past quotes and the delivery of the promises in those quotes.

I would be more interested in what the ex-managers/staff and former players had to say but we all know he did like an NDA or two

I bet he’d rather spend 30 days in a hole, than coming back to our club?

I will be interested in his court case and how that pans out. I hope he is hit hard by the courts decision.

Think he was holding out for the right buyer of the club, ie finances. So he must be applauded for that. So he has left the club in a better shape and brighter future.

Peter Swann Gimcrack Dinner Speech (York Races), Tuesday 12th December 2017.

    [extract from]:

“I was asked if there were many comparisons with my other love which is being the Chairman of a football league club, in particular, between footballers and horses, well surprisingly there is as follows:

We try and buy athletic, good moving, fit horses as we do footballers. If they move well, have no major injuries and have a forward going mentality it ticks a lot of boxes for both players and horses. However some have vices, in horses we have windsuckers, cribbers,
weavers and a lot need headgear, rugs and blindfolds to go into the stalls.

In football we have dribblers who should pass, passers who should dribble, goal scorers who don’t score and defenders who can’t defend. Some need help and wear gloves, tights and support equipment along with a few who would benefit from a stall handler pushing them onto the pitch in the cold depths of winter.

The one telling connection is neither a footballer or horse has won mastermind and you can make your own conclusions from that!“

Siderite, but can you be sure he has gone? Have we got proof he’s gone? No, I’m not so sure either, only time will tell or a comment from the chairman?

Just my take based on no factual knowledge at all. It might be that, in some guise or other, Mr Swann still has some involvement in Glanford Park and will do so until 1899 shares of £1899 are purchased. Anybody know how sales are going?

52, but not all paid up.
    It’s been a complete failure.
There’s more chance of us escaping relegation than Swann getting his £3million LOL
