Cliff, did your source give any indication when we might get to see or hear these plans?

Critical of the First team manager, i warned he was out of his depth and its true.
Happy to give Dave Hilton benefit of the doubt.
Iron fan of 33 years home and away not so much recently because of well, life.
I’ve never had anything free out of the club or any backscratchers, unlike yourself.Which is why so many fear starting from the bottom and rebuilding.

Any conformation Hilton and his family got abused, or is it all Social Media Talk?
The current rumours are, from several on twitter claiming to be there, is that the culprit shouted “that’s fucking shit” at Hilton, who responded with “fuck off, I’ve only been here for a couple of months.”
Some who deride the rumours about Hilton’s background seem to have jumped on the rumours of family being in the car, personal abuse and what not on this. I don’t think shouting anything at Hilton solves anything, and it shouldn’t have been done, but the the differences in narrative is telling.
Some say that it’s the Hilton rumour spreaders who are to blame alone. Yet there is an opinion piece on this site calling for unity. I fail to see how leaping on rumours of some personal attack is doing anything to help in that, yet those who do will berate others for lack of unity.
I have no idea as to what really happened, but I reiterate that nothing should have been shouted. If it was “that’s fucking shit” those deriding our fans as being the worst in the world need to get a grip and learn not to amplify what might be false rumours to appear as ‘top fans’ and sowing disunity. If Hilton was to walk away because of that, I’d question if his heart was really in it from the start, though I wouldn’t blame him for reacting as he may have done. If it was more personal, then of course it needs severe condemnation and repercussions.
Either way, I don’t think all this speculation without basis on all things Hilton is helping, and neither extreme are coming out well. We should be able to question Hilton, but some of the stuff is not substantiated. Those who want to support Hilton can do, but attacking our fanbase is too much.

Totally agree Siderite. I would add, most the insults and abuse on here and social media seem to be coming from those not willing or prepared to question Hilton and raise concerns, towards those who are and are doing. I can understand some supporters being unhappy that Hilton has his critics, but watching sensible discussions frequently descend in to mud slinging and slanging matches is tiresome. If some supporters don’t like seeing the warranted questions and concerns, it’d be appreciated if they said why with some dignity and decorum or ignored it.

Saw this from Saleiron and echo those sentiments:
‘I have seen no one condoning abuse of the owner. Let’s not conflate that unacceptable behaviour with a healthy scepticism and a critical eye being applied to his decisions. Part of the reason we are where we are is a failure to do that sufficiently during Swann’s tenure.’

Topics: 18Didn’t DH say in the Iron Army interview that buying land on this scale and with it being split up into five different sections with different liabilities on each plus all the services, planning permissions etc etc takes a lot of time legally to get everything in order?, I believe he did and didn’t he mention the date toward the end of May as the date when it all gets concluded? Some people have short memories it seems whilst posting different versions of how things could play out, all very unhelpful really and only leads to unnecessary speculation.
Of course you’d question whether is heart was in it from the start S otherwise it would mean fans drove him out no surprise there. 500.000 at least spent to date definitely is heart isn’t in it, people supported him buying the club and that’s about it really, people say they wanted change but at every step they’ve shown they don’t, training ground, academy, season tickets cash only, the manager, the 1899 scheme, please do tell me what he’s done that you actually like.
