To much of a liability for me sent off twice an added game for all his yellows, even at the nothing game at Gloucester was getting wound up, perfect player for the opposition to target.
And him and fitz have plenty of dodgy moments. On a positive we’ve nearly go a full team now. Let’s see the new blood.

You would have thought Evans and Kouogun will be first choice with Boyce getting the odd game here and there. We need to sort LB out now and see if Denton is staying.

Agree with WG that Kouogan and Evans should probably be first choice pair.

Kouogan has a turn of pace the other 2 don’t have and Evans is much the better passer of the 3.

Boyce is a good player and a consistent performer and we certainly need 3 quality centre backs. Always likely to have suspensions, injuries or concussion protocols going on with centre backs so not surprising Boycie made about 30 appearances last season.

I thought all 3 centre backs showed good form at different stages last season, however Evans, for me, was the most consistent of them all.

Really pleased he’s decided to stay.

A good player with a 2 year deal that will start to establish stability in player turnover. CBs need that competitive edge re the red cards. Then you add Ross Barrows staying and a settled defence for season start is promising.

Next recruits will flesh out the bones.
