The big question tomorrow will be what happens to the manager” if we exit the FA Cup first round against Solihull Moors?. With Dagenham & Redridge beating Grimsby 3-1, noting that Daggers are sitting at the rock bottom of the National League and Solihull are in 6th place in the same league, this could easily happen.
So since Cox arrived anf took over, we have played 8 league games, with one lucky win and one draw, having lost the other six, we are out of the League Cup first ronf, out of the League Trophy, and if we lose tomorrow it will be FA Cup exit first round, so ONE WIN in thirteen matches with another loss tomorrow… Can the manager survive a record like that, and also the crap unentertaining defensive rubbish the team is playing, it will be same again, like Butlin’s, the season over by October.
The manager seems a nice guy, but having been plucked from the National League, where he was anassistant manager, NOT EVEN A MANAGER, His record since his arrival is terrible, and it really is a kind of blessing that we do not have to sit in the Cluggy watching the dross that is being turned out.
But there does not appear to be any information coming from the Board on what is being done to change anything, how many supporters want non-league football at Scunny ????????????????????.

November 7, 2020 at 8:00 pm #197024Thought Willcox was steady away….
November 7, 2020 at 8:15 pm #197025Not in danger at the minute IMO. He’s been dealt a sh1t hand but must have known that before he accepted the job. Given a box of 30 Lego bricks, all from different sets, and told to make something that resembles a football team from the oddments.

November 7, 2020 at 8:59 pm #197027Thanks I-a. Worked for Blair, will it work for us?
November 7, 2020 at 9:23 pm #197028I think Cox will get a back, sack and crack!
Smooooth!
November 8, 2020 at 10:31 am #197042As there are only 2 choices and sacking hasn’t worked on the past several occasions – let’s try backing for a change.
November 8, 2020 at 11:54 am #197050Backed 100 %.
I agree we shouldn’t get hung up on ex players or has beens, but Cox is different.
Time to be United.
November 8, 2020 at 9:05 pm #197152His recordso far suggests he really is different, but is there any of our past managers had a worse record than Cox. It really amazes me how so many supporters are giving Cox their support at the same time as we gallop head first into non-league fooyball, I am just hoping that these fans are not assuming that it is easy to get back up into the league once again.
Personally I am expecting news tomorrow that he has gone, the biggest problem that the club have is that Peter Swann has no idea on selecting replacements, and just annonces his selection without o consulting anyone, well possibly his son.
What I would like tp know is, who the hell gaveTuran a two year contract, in my 68 years following Scunny, he must rank as the worse signingthe club have ever made, but some one must have signed him????????????????????????????????????????????????????????
November 8, 2020 at 9:24 pm #197153Love him or hate him a Warnock/Ferguson Type manager should have been appointed with cox as assistant, these players need A good kick up their backside.
November 8, 2020 at 9:33 pm #197155Last 15 games
W1 D1 L13granted a couple were in last season but the club is dying. Cox has been dealt a crap hand but will be dismissed shortly as is the want if the commander in chief
November 8, 2020 at 10:04 pm #197159Has he been backed since he arrived? Everything was already decided before he was appointed wasn’t it? The squad was put together either before he arrived or pretty hastily after his arrival. Don’t think he’ll get sacked yet, whilst Cox is he it’s taking heat off others.
