Iron Bru › Forums › Blast Furnace › Why is Pugh sidelined?
What is it with this new guy? Different format every game and probxbly our most consistent midfielder on the bench, dhile players eho have done nowt previously continue to fo nowt.
Not impressed.
One draw and three defeats so far.
Still rock bottom.
Still have the worst goal difference in the league.
Still leaking goals for fun.
Still having few shots on target.
And meanwhile, the teams above are starting to pull away from the bottom three.
Still think we are relegation certainties.
Don’t understand why any of the loan players are stating !
Wilson, Pugh and Jessop would put in much more effort.
Loans probably start because they have too.
And I wonder which total lunatic sanctioned that clause?
Hackney alone has justified his place.
Wood hasn’t.
Scrimshaw – might one day be decent but not in our setup.
Billson ???
Perry has not. Beestin not as impressive as last season.
Pugh? – That’s the biggie. Has he perhaps not subscribed to the more rigorous training regime?
Would getting rid of Scrimshaw, Wood, Billson (presumably) and paying off a German – allow us to bring in new players?
I do not know the rules. Does anyone on here?

Jessop not exactly blowing them away at Trinity. I suspect the fitness issue might be a factor, Cox hasn’t done them any favours has he?
Pugh’s been dropped for the experience of Kenyon. Which may or may not be the right solution. Hill’s trying different options to see what works, if he didn’t do that you’d blame him for being dogmatic.
The fact that Wood & Hackney continue to get picked is still baffling to me though.
I thought the majority of considered opinion on here was that Hackney had improved, was playing well and worth his place. Just to say the last couple of home league games I’ve watched I thought he was playing really well compared to when he first arrived. Can’t comment on his performance at Mansfield yesterday but I presume judging by comments on here the entire team simply wasn’t good enough.
Sounded as though Mr Perry did not impress Mr Hill yesterday.
The manager said he let him know at the end of the game ! I bet he did, in training good things get credits bad things are mentioned vocally !!
