We’re castrated without him.
February 22, 2025 at 6:59 pm #299313The 5 games hes missed and only one win and only 5 points.
Come on lads step up to the mark, and Butler be more attacking when Whitehall is out be prepared to lose by preparing to win.

February 24, 2025 at 2:08 pm #299383Out for 4-6 weeks
February 24, 2025 at 2:24 pm #299385Will be well rested for the playoffs.
February 24, 2025 at 2:59 pm #299386No Whitehall = showing up to a gunfight with a banana.

Or showing up to a football match with Beck…either way, you won’t be successful!
February 24, 2025 at 3:53 pm #299389Hopefully AB won’t take too long realising that Beck ain’t the answer and plays with pace up top and preferably on the deck.
Here’s hoping, or else it will be a poor March.

February 24, 2025 at 6:01 pm #299391Could have well played his last game for us, not forced to be fit after 6 weeks with a medial injury.
February 24, 2025 at 6:21 pm #299394Well that’s cheered me up. AB reckons Danny’s had 2 of the 4-6 weeks, I prefer his scenario.

Can see Beck clattering him in training when he’s on the comeback trail, out for the season, no room for softies or people falling over like a fanny, gone and done, move on.
February 24, 2025 at 7:42 pm #299397And who would we have has a forward next season Ironawe in the national league where the club expect us to be.
Goal scorers cost money and demand an higher wage are you saying we rely on Beck or Fishburn maybe Carlton.
February 24, 2025 at 7:56 pm #299398Just pleased that no surgery is needed for Danny. Rest and then rehab and hopefully will be available for the last few games.
Now the others need to step up and get the job done so the pressure is reduced on Danny.
February 24, 2025 at 8:11 pm #299399All we need now is for Roberts to get clattered.
That would be game over.February 24, 2025 at 8:33 pm #299402And who would we have has a forward next season Ironawe in the national league where the club expect us to be.

I’m saying you bite like a prize pike as usual, must be in your fruitcake DNA.

That would be game over. That would be a total disaster.
February 27, 2025 at 2:21 pm #299490Better news today.
February 27, 2025 at 4:01 pm #299496Certainly news sounds a lot better for him. And his fitness is priority.
Gives Andy Butler a massive boost 3 big strikers for the run in.
February 27, 2025 at 4:11 pm #299497March 19, 2025 at 11:11 am #300055Any update on his return?
March 19, 2025 at 2:00 pm #300071Even at 80% needs to be on from the start no bench warming if it goes tit’s up then so be it he’s supposedly leaving end of season anyway so nothing to lose all to gain.
March 19, 2025 at 2:17 pm #300072I was interested to learn, from Saturdays RH stint, that he lives somewhere near Immingham. If he’s settled there it might be only The Cods that could tempt him to move. (Assuming, of course, that we make him a sensible/realistic offer to stay)

Not league standard imo.
March 19, 2025 at 2:30 pm #300074Maybe Matlock then? They haven’t scored for 3 games and I believe they’ve had some recent investment.

Isnt Immingham the posh part of Grimsby without the stench of fish , flytipping, boarded up windows and super glued letterboxes so bailiffs can post a summons …
It makes Scunny look like St Tropez ..
Maybe a few of Hiltons era mega signings could be tempted to Matlock with another Willy Wonka golden ticket regardless if we go up OR NOT.
March 21, 2025 at 3:54 pm #300114Chester – will he be back?
Fingers crossed. -
