So currently the truth appears to be we can’t pay wages yet this month. Which makes me think we weren’t told the whole truth last month. Now there’s a surprise!

Hopefully the one or two posters who slated other posters concerns on here last time and said it was probably down to BACS or a glitch will have their tails between their legs and won’t bother using it as an opportunity to mock their fellow supporters. Again.

It’s OK to admit you were wrong.

I’m hearing Swann has followed my lead and switched to TSB and snaffled £180 just for switching accounts, could explain any delay, but…

How can Ollie Turner say scunny are hoping to pay the wages tomorrow, When it takes 3days for the Bac’s process to go through, shouldn’t he have said scunny employees “Will” be paid tomorrow.

Do you work in the club’s finance team or do marketing for BACS? You seem to have a detailed knowledge of the process they have in place and Ollie Turner’s misjudgement. Your obsession with BACS ignores what Turner has been told, truth or not.

It is true. Employees informed over email.
Whether they are paid tomorrow remains to be seen. If not, I think it throws the game on Saturday into serious doubt and could possibly end in a points deduction for failing to fulfil fixtures. What a mess.

So currently the truth appears to be we can’t pay wages yet this month. Which makes me think we weren’t told the whole truth last month. Now there’s a surprise!

I saw on Twitter that the wages were paid late last month. I said so on here. Despite of the rubbish the club peddled I knew I was right.

This was circulated on twitter last month but then the club doubled down on it and made out it was some kind of simple error.

Turnbull was talking out of his behind, he’s a club stooge covering Swann’s place. Money may get paid this month but if this goes another month, we’ll be going into admin.

I hope Swann lowers his asking price and get’s something for it before we completely go under. Swann’s wasted a month trying to sell to somebody with a chequered past, no doubt in a bid to recoup more money instead of doing the right thing and selling it to actual fans of the club.

    Swannster’s behaviour knows no bounds.

On the plus side there’ll be loads of shirts sold as mementos of the last shirt in the club’s history

It’s about time our Fans Director stood up and be counted.
I appreciate there are confidentiality clauses on some things but he publicly says nothing !
He seems to be more loyal to the Club than the 2000 plus Fans he is currently representing
A statement is needed from the Club and certainly one is needed from OUR Fans Director who by saying nothing much publicly most if not all the time has become part of the many problems.
We need to be hearing from him !

If the staff do not get paid I wonder how long Mr Turnbull will be there as he’s an employee ?

With the things the way they are it’s a shame there’s little media attention. Maybe some famous ex-players/coaches could drum up some attention. Ian Botham won’t, with his club links, but what about Keegan and Clemence? Even some of our more recent stars like Billy Sharp and Nigel Adkins, maybe?

The club had issues paying the wages on time last month, and it seems even worse this month.

Given the financial mess the club is in one has to ask; even *if* they get paid today, tomorrow or whenever, will the same happen next month?

Thanks JI and NI. I completely forgot that he had passed away. I am expecting too much if his ghost to communicate! :-)

It’s only £125 for switching TW, to get the extra £55 you have to commit for six months, can’t see Swanny doing that!

Indeed, when I get the other payment I’ll be off elsewhere, unlike Swann. 💰
