October 26, 2022 at 2:13 pm #247602Ah Facebook that well known platform where people get advice about health and other issues rather then seek professional advice and treat it as gospel, oh it must be true then 😂😂😂

October 26, 2022 at 4:25 pm #247609October 26, 2022 at 4:28 pm #247610Millwall also struggling.
October 26, 2022 at 5:34 pm #247614Great, let’s all go bust together.
October 26, 2022 at 6:43 pm #247630One rumour on twitter is that the club need to find 250k urgently to pay staff otherwise administration looms. Whether any truth in that ive absolutely no idea. There has been interested parties involving steve wharton to buy but like others so far noone meeting swanns price – thats also another rumour. As with everythin till a deal is done its pure speculation. Interesting tho
October 26, 2022 at 7:23 pm #247633Sadly the fact we remain overwhelming favourites for relegation at a price way shorter than any of the other incompetent National League sides suggests the bookies know what is coming.
If the odds were being based on recent results we would be priced in the same ball park as the other 5 or 6 clubs around us.
The bookies do get it wrong but not very often.
Administration or liquidation is looming very large. Thanks Peter.
October 26, 2022 at 7:44 pm #247634Heard last week that Swann turned down a bid of £6 million from Wharton, lol. Yet again source could offer no explanation of why Wharton hasn’t gone public on it, I mean it’s not like he owes Swanny anything. The other one offered was the trust was getting a bid together ffs.
October 26, 2022 at 7:55 pm #247635Not sure there is anyone out there with the money to meet the asking price and finance the shortfall in the budget. Unfortunately it seems administration is the most likely option for getting rid of Swann, unless any of us win euromillions.

Wharton is a good businessman,he doesn’t do his laundry in the public eye .I doubt he’d do it, he left due to il health in the 1st place and he’s ten years older now
October 26, 2022 at 9:00 pm #247641Come on 64 didn’t you see the lol or ffs.
October 26, 2022 at 9:11 pm #247642As it’s not far off what I was hearing I chose to ignore the ROFLs
October 26, 2022 at 9:21 pm #247645Facebook also reckons the reason we won last night is that the players were told Swann was leaving at half time!
For what it’s worth I understand there are still two parties involved. Simon’s consortium have put three bids in so far, but I understand they are only interested in securing the club and stadium.

October 26, 2022 at 10:59 pm #247654For what it’s worth, Neil Wright denying any takeover on Facebook now – just rumours again.

Sounds like another attempt to boost home crowds.
October 27, 2022 at 9:42 am #247663And there lieth the problem 64 to many people buy into these rumours.
October 27, 2022 at 10:39 am #247667Out of desperation I think!
October 27, 2022 at 10:49 am #247670I think the problem might be the way you tell ’em awaywego. Frank Carson, you are not!
October 27, 2022 at 12:19 pm #247676Journo a Iron Fan Aidan says there is something in the bid (which bid I do not know!). Let’s hope there is some movement and get Swanns out of the club by Xmas. I would start dragging my sons back to GP 😂

October 27, 2022 at 1:37 pm #247680Rumour has it that would be a waste of time going to GP, if we’re going to share at Northolme.
October 27, 2022 at 6:57 pm #247686Rumours of a sale are a bit like taking a 3-0 lead against Solihull Moors.
You can’t stop getting a little bit excited even though deep down you know it will end in shit.
