August 21, 2022 at 12:42 am #243116Not a huge Oasis fan but we would go to see them a few times in the early days and they were electric. Good memories of being in the Glastonbury crowd for this set. Fade Away…

August 21, 2022 at 3:20 pm #243198Wonderful stuff DM, you know I’m hooked on those Beatles boys. Quite ironically we were discussing Trump earlier in the week and this could have been his theme tune when in power.

August 26, 2022 at 11:04 pm #243571One of my favourite bands, a love intensified over time since first hearing them around 1980. Man Machine is the pinnacle for me. Only occasionally put them on nowadays but when this came on 6 music yesterday it sounded as brilliant as it did in 1981. Quite prophetic lyrics too if you think about it. We were no way near what they’re saying on this; now it’s completely the norm. Wondrous stuff
August 26, 2022 at 11:25 pm #243572Definitely a fave

September 3, 2022 at 10:10 pm #244458I know. The track came to mind out of our plight. Never saw Quo in this period but I believe they were shit hot live amd could tear the roof off!

September 16, 2022 at 11:55 pm #245089Today I have been mostly listening to Nicholas feckin Witchell reach new heights of sycophancy and meaningless drivel. And still 3 days for him to go higher.
September 17, 2022 at 1:07 am #245092Put your music on DM, it’s more rewarding.

I’ll try a different one, Deerey …though can’t guarantee a successful posting as this is a bit new and ‘tekky’ for me.September 20, 2022 at 8:21 pm #245225September 20, 2022 at 8:21 pm #245226Same as myself JI, should really have grasped this posting video malarkey by now but not got it yet. Good job a lot of my fellow posters on this side put stuff on I really like and occasionally have done a request for me, the joys of the non football brotherhood, long may it run.

September 20, 2022 at 10:51 pm #245231The early work of Sounds Like Reign was a little too new wave for my tastes, but when the album King Jesus came out, I think they really came into their own, commercially and artistically. The whole record has a clear, crisp sound, and a new sheen of consummate professionalism that really gives the songs a big boost. It’s an undisputed masterpiece.
Is He Worthy is a song so catchy, most people probably don’t listen to the lyrics. But they should, because it’s not just about the pleasures of conformity and the importance of trends. It’s also a personal statement about the band itself.
