I have just wasted 45 minutes of my life watching a pretty ordinary Oxford City poke 4 goals past St Albans in the first half.
Be in no doubts – St Albans are so bad that any team of ours from last season would have probably hit more – even allowing for our hatred of positive football.
So. Were Oxford City really good? – Who knows when St Albans were that dire?
(I shan’t be bothering with the 2nd half, BTW.)
Are teams as inept as St Albans vying for promotion in the NLN, I wonder?
we may have to settle for our players from last season unless hillton pays five months of pension contributions
Another embargo?
I thought you are being a bit unfair Les, I thought Oxford looked pretty decent first half and certainly would have beaten us, second half watched it until Everton v City started.
It was much more a dig at such a poor team pursuing promotion rather than having a go at Oxford City, Mick.
I could say that they took their goals well – but look at the space they were allowed.
Two feet that point in the same direction.
Numerous.
Able to tie your own boot laces.
Able to wear your shirt the correct way around and not inside out.
Able to wear your socks on the correct foot.
Are you talking to yourself again AA?
