Google bbc radio York schedule (or find it on bbc sounds) and go back to Wednesday night 6pm for the York city special program.

Really interesting to hear how NO York fans wanted the manager gone and the fact a new chairman made that happen with interference and a desire to go with youth!!!
Feels scarily similar to us with the new owners son also brought in.
Disgraceful way the manger found out it was over and fans up in arms.
How the York fans feel for their manager reminded me of how I felt about Adkins… There was a point in his leadership where I thought we were unbeatable (even when we lost)
The final 2 minutes of the show are the moments from the live radio broadcast of when York went up and these were the perfect end to a superb hour+ listen.
    Well done radio York!!
And if Askey wants a new project scunthorpe United need a new hero!!

Even Super Nige couldn’t sort this shit show out mate. I’ve said it before, it doesn’t matter who the Manager is, while Swann is here we are only going down, what is anyone supposed to do with this squad?

This squad is not bad, a bit thin but not bad. We have (IMO) 7 or 8 players well capable of playing above the level at which we find ourselves, so why are they not performing?
    Badly managed?
    Badly coached?
Demotivated?Tactics that don’t play to their strengths?
    Friction between players?
I wush I knew – but somebody must and clearly can’t sort it!!

It’s the same scenario though cass repeated over several seasons with different squads, it cant always be down to those things you list, it’s happened too regular over that time period. When a club is successful how many times is it said it’s because everybody at the club is pulling together in the same direction, yes it’s a bit cliched but lets be right, we are rotten from the top down. You can change coaches, which we have, we can change managers, which we have and we can change players again which we have but the one thing we have not changed since things went wrong is the owner. I repeat for the ones with a short memory, nothing will change long term in our direction as a football club till the current owner is gone, end of.

The rot won’t stop if it starts at the top. It permeates through any living organism, even ones barely alive.
