Anybody interested in here please. I’m going 2-0 home win and safety confirmed, don’t know why just a gut feeling.

    2-0 Walsall.
Useless defending, toothless midfield, one shot on target

Question is just how many of the newer professionals will get a chance having not had a chance ALL season. Or will Mr Cox bottle it again ?

Because his latest humberside interview sums up the previous 42 league games !!

Is it true that some players have appearances guaranteed in their contracts unless they are injured?

Hell Iron-we, you say 2-0 mate, a couple of shots on targetr would be an improvement of late, although Walsall are really a poor team, I go for 1-0, although we do not do a lot of 1-0 scores.

Just hope that we can actually try and win one for a change, if we set up to win, and it is slightly entertaining, I would setytle for that, and not one up blloody front again.

Can hear part of the Walsall post match now !!

Did we look leggy ? Whatever that means !!
Need to get some fresh legs back after the debrief !!!

Mr Cox’s thursday humberside interview summed up our season. He says he promised the players he would be honest with them. What about the supporters. If several are not good enough why did you keep picking the same failures ? Enough for me.

A win for either team today would assure their league status for another season. Recent form has me doubting that we will be able to string more than a couple of passes together. I suspect that we will line up with a defensive mindset, and will lack any quality to the forward line.

That said, I’m listening to my heart rather than my head and will be going for a hopeful 1 or 2 nil home victory.

A draw would do the same.

I’d settle for the disgrace of Gijon Scunthorpe!

Same outfield players again. No youngsters given a chance so expect the same sort of performances that we have been getting. Why not give some of the kids a chance.

    Should be mathematically safe today.
If so – let the hacking of deadwood commence forthwith!

I would have liked to have seen Joey Dawson and some of the young lads SanFran knows well. I understand you cannot throw 5 into the first 11 but if attitudes stink amongst the senior pros then time to throw 2 in to shake things up a bit.

As far as letting the young lads have a chance, I just remember a night when the young lads were given a chance because of poor performances from the regulars many years ago, and getting stuffed 7-1.
I still have nightmares, our one goal came from the only regular.

Do not give up Sanfran, you know it will work out with all this experienced management of ours, it is the same failures as usual. it will be the same boring defesive shite even though we are playing a poor team. Whatever the rubbish being served up under this bloody lot, we now have another new refurbished stadium to look forward to.

Bloody useless again, what a bunch of lazy b——s, get these people out of our club now. Swann you are a complete disgrace sack that crap management team. It would make no difference now who picks the team for the last three matches because there are no winners anywhere at the club. Looks like a lucky third from bottom finish,

Joey Dawson not even making the squad today, unless he’s picked up a knock of course, very disappointing. 😞

yet ANOTHER game where we failed to get a single shot on target!!! This is piss poor, I cannot see us gaining anymore points this season! We’re now relying on Barrow, Southend, and Grimsby to flounder!!!!

    Can’t pass.
    Can’t move into space.
    Incapable of rational thought.
Can’t control the ball. Some of the worst ball control I’ve ever seen!

I don’t think this was a lack of effort – it was just quality which was two full notches below wretched.

Two goals conceded and that based on three mistakes from next season’s defenders.

It matters not what system you play when you are that bad on the basics. You keep thinking that these players just can’t get any worse but …

The midfield was indescribably poor – again. I repeat – if your midfield don’t work then neither do your forwards and defence.

Season after season the standards have got ever more shocking. Well, let me tell you – it just ain’t possible to get any less ept!

Well we keep saying that things cannot not any worse, I am sorry to say that this was the worst Scunny performance in my 69 years of following them. For yje second match running Sunny failed to record a shot on target, and in the second half did not even have a shot of any discription, and this was against a poor team that had not won in the last TEN MATCHES, they over run us throughout the 90 mins, we were pathetic. Our only player of any worth was Gilliead, so what did brainwave Cox do, yes he subbed him ten minutes into the second half, probably the reason being thjat he was making our other ten look like none performing clowns, for Christ sake Cox. get back to being an assistant in non-league.
    .
WATSON—3—First two crosses into our goal area, 0-2.
    TAFT—4—Not involved much.
ONARIASE—3—Is obviously still playing with injury.
    GILLIESD—8—Only player worth his salt/
LOFT—3—No control of the ball.headless chicken again.
KVV—4—A few good free kicks, but no balls came his way.
GREEN—3—Never beat his man once during the game, but was kept on.
    SPENCE—3—Very little influence on things,
BEESTIN—3—A very poor match, caught in posession far too often.
ROWE—3—Another poor performance, one erreor cost the second goal.
O’ALLEY—3—Should have stopped the cross for 1st goal, a very poor afternoon for him.

TWO REFS–8—Both had good matches, the first ref was overcome by the dazling Scunny performance, he could not take any more.

COX—2—Thi is the worse Scunny team I have ever seen, and Cox is the worst manager we have had. Today we were playing a team without a win in their previous ten away games, and they outclassed us ib every department, sadley in work effort, and the aim to win, and for the 2nd game on the bounce we did not have a shot on tarhget, that is over THREE HOURS WITHOUT A SHOT ON TARGET, and Swanny keeps backing this clown and his partners.

Summaty—–Get this management team out of our club Swanny, supporters have just lost their Groiund this week, and they have now lost their once proud little team. We deserve to go out of the football league.
