Nicely refreshed after holidays Peter? So presumably no sale to report on as yet.
You wont have noticed the local rag (unless your holiday was in Cleggy) which without Bax Mell’s musings is a tad bias at the moment towards our local rivals.
So as our presiding leader we fans would appreciate an update of sorts, thus far apart from receiving information on the extended shop opening hours in order to purchase our season tickets before the discount cut-off. We have not seen next seasons kits been informed who the club shirt sponsor will be, all minor things to you Peter but important to us fans.
So as your tenure comes to a close or maybe not, lets have something to generate positivity for the Iron and get us supporters in a positive frame of mind ready for non-league football.
PS don’t mention the C word, it was boring then and even more so now.

True mick but he’s not really in charge is he, only the sycophants think that.

And they answer to?
Do you really believe that ANY decisions are made, ANY action taken or ANY information released without the owners approval?
Is ‘gullible’ an insult or merely an appropriate adjective?1 user thanked author for this post.
June 13, 2022 at 11:06 pm #238780Does the COO/CEO own the club?

If you click on ‘forums’ at the top then there is a non-football option.

Did you just want something else to moan about?Go on then I’ll have a nibble (or not) I’m sat in Asda while Mrs Two shops and quite fancied a full English breakfast for a change, have had one in months. How the effing he’ll have they ran out of sausages?! 🤬

Promise or intention? Seem to recall it was the latter. And how would Swanny have any influence (as you said in a previous post) on whether the non-footy side reopened again or not?

We were told the date it was opening up again was February 7th, hey ho. 🙂

June 14, 2022 at 11:37 am #238798It might have meant February 7th 2023? X-)

June 14, 2022 at 11:42 am #238799Why is it when Swann or a manager says something it’s a promise and yet others can get away with intention?. I thought Swanny was the owner when it came to all things Scunthorpe.

It might have been put back to the 12th…of never!

Not according to UTI99. It’s the COO/CEO!

Never go on non football, just saw the heading.
June 14, 2022 at 1:09 pm #238804Thought Swann was an FU2/GTF type of guy. 😜

I don’t believe he ever said that.

Rarely agree with awaywego, but he is correct in saying that whatever Swann says becomes a “promise” when there really is very little that he has promised.

June 15, 2022 at 11:10 am #238859Meanwhile back to the thread!
What’s happening Peter (the real string puller)?
Ownership?
New Kits?
Club/shirt sponsors?1 user thanked author for this post.
June 15, 2022 at 12:02 pm #238862Well having heard Matt Deans radio humberside interview with Keith Hill and hearing that pre-season starts on the 23rd is anyone feeling confident as to whose master plan takes priority on recruitment ?
Although ANY signings will be Mr Hill’s choice but whose list are they selected from ? It has a familiar ring to it.

June 15, 2022 at 12:56 pm #238864We struggled big time to create many decent goalscoring opportunities. Unless there’s recruitment to address that, where are the goals coming from?
June 15, 2022 at 11:42 pm #238916This club is a mess!! I really hoped we were ok but we’re clearly not!
Keith’s interviews are like listening to a poor man’s politician!!
I’ll be honest and blunt Keith (and Peter won’t have a choice) You’ve got 10 national league games to do something positive or your OUT!!!
Your lack of honesty and transparency is annoying so you’ve got ZERO in the bank with SUFC supporters from this point onwards!!
Pugh & Wilson are the best young players we’ve got yet ones been released and the other is almost never mentioned… will he play a part next season?? Surely he has to!!
Finally……
Peter Swann… you disgust me!!
Slither away and let this club and community come together and be re-born!!1 user thanked author for this post.
June 16, 2022 at 12:37 am #238918increasingly im tending to think Hill is just the next appointed YES man .. i was pretty chuffed when he arrived but now after his woeful stats and equally inept man management skills ( some players didnt want to play to avoid injury still erks me ) like to see the back of him .. talks in cliches n its the same old bollocks he spouted last season , without new owners and big changes with him and Swann we are totally screwed ..DOOMED to further bad times and ridicule.
The clubs current situation remind me of a purple resprayed old banger Hillman Allegro thats been up for sale on the forecourt for years .. the price gradually reduced as the rust spots start to bleed through and still no takers .. finally the wheels fall off it rots and has to be scrapped.
Just who in gods name would want to buy the club ???? its in a shambolic state both on and off the pitch and more so financially so unappealing to any investor of sound mind n body.
i wish i had some thing positive to post but the reality is .. theres nothing to see here move along please.
June 16, 2022 at 7:35 am #238921Hillman Allegro? – I think not.
