I have been asked by Jerry to post the following on here, as he is not a member.
If anyone has any questions to ask bout the unity group if they want to come in to the club shop tomorrow Friday 3rd January ill be there from 10am – 4pm and outside crumble corner on Saturday from 1.30pm till 2.45. I will answer them to the best of my knowledge
January 2, 2025 at 7:15 pm #296481Where’s “Crumble Corner”? Is it where the stand meets the away end?
New one on me
January 2, 2025 at 7:17 pm #296482While everyone is at work? No Stuart?
It seems to be made up of Hilton fans, are you all over compensating?
Not forgotten your abuse over Hilton either EarlJanuary 2, 2025 at 7:35 pm #296486It’s where the Mortz meets the DRE.
Great move giving access to fans inside and outside the ground from the same outlet.A statement from the group with their and their standing orders, with aims preferably through the club so we know the club fully except the group and there’s a bit of accountability there. With what the funding is specifically going to rather just than a talk with Jerry

January 2, 2025 at 7:43 pm #296487Will Jerry be able to clarify how accounts will be audited, and what the aims of unity are? Such as if it’s linked to the old supporters group or to the football cards which I enjoy I might add uti
January 2, 2025 at 7:50 pm #296488Surely the UNITY Chairman should be there to answer the questions ?
Find it funny that’s it adjacent to Trust Corner , the Group they have been slagging off every chance they get after all the brilliant work the Trust quietly did to keep us a football Club.
It’s him who’s caused all the problems from what I can see so he should answer1 user thanked author for this post.

It will be renamed ” Grumble Corner ” after Saturday, sounds like Stu might be running scared, should have kept his gob shut.

Thought it might be “Rumble corner” that the Naughty 40 want reopening.
I’m sure Jerry “If you want to complain speak to Mr Hilton” Mahony can confirm.
January 3, 2025 at 12:09 am #296545Will this new entity be applying for registration with the Charity Commission so they are accountable to an independent regulatory body? That would be a wise move to reassure donors about their stated aims and objectives, how raised funds will be spent, and public knowledge about positions / appointments, voting rights, etc. Pretty standard stuff which will help everybody and circumvent the sort of questions and suspicions that have been aired recently.
January 3, 2025 at 12:14 am #296546Poor old Jerry, Stuart aside where will the rest of the chumps involved with Unity be?
Parking up next to the Iron Trust at Trust corner and I take it ‘crumble corner’ is yet another of your pathetic attempts to slander the Iron Trust will give fans the opportunity to see the quality of the people involved with both groups.
Maybe it’s time to explain yours, Jerry’s and Karen Lee’s hatred for the Iron Trust, and if there’s time also explain the subsidy for your away travel.
January 3, 2025 at 12:18 am #296547Transparency and accountability is needed. Jerry taking supporters questions isn’t really cutting it.
January 3, 2025 at 12:29 am #296549Just an afterthought: why doesn’t Jerry just register on Bru so he doesn’t have to ask a third party to relay messages on his behalf? Reasonable question I think.
January 3, 2025 at 1:17 am #296550The Iron Trust did a great thing in ensuring the future of GP by making it a Community Asset.
But with the official supporters club and/or unity group, What do they actually do?
These groups should be more proactive and once or twice a season should be organising special events on a matchday for supporters.
Whether it’s fundraising for displays/flags/banners in the ground (allowing supporters to vote on designs), organising themed away-days, retro-shirt days, etc.
For as long as I can remember it all seems really lazy, unorganised and quite a closed-off circle which defeats the purpose.
Think outside the box and do something worthwhile that would encourage all supporters to engage with the groups.
And stop breaking away in to smaller groups, it really defeats the purpose!!
January 3, 2025 at 6:50 am #296553Serious question…
How do you join the Unity Group.. cost, sign up, forms..
Hot local singles want to join you2 users thanked author for this post.

Unfair on Karen Ironking, she barely raises her head above the parapet online .She may or may not be disdainful of the trust in private but she’s not deserving of outing here in my opinion and all the crap that brings with it
Where as Jerry

January 3, 2025 at 1:20 pm #296587Smoking goat guy dismissing the trust?
January 3, 2025 at 1:32 pm #296588January 3, 2025 at 1:56 pm #296589That smoking goat guy wasn’t dismissing the trust, I was asking a serious question.
January 3, 2025 at 1:59 pm #296590Or asking a serious question? Stop speculating and stirring the pot. If I wanted to call out the Iron Trust then I would do it directly. I was merely asking a question
January 3, 2025 at 2:08 pm #296591The trust worked tirelessly to make GP a community asset. That meant when Swann wanted to sell he had to wait ,they then worked with the club to get Swann to not pull the trigger when the asset’s time was nearing an end so that the club could set up the new holding company for the ground with the council.Just one of it’s successes. While others were working for Hilton or slagging anyone off who saw though him including the trust.

You weren’t aware of the trusts work in securing the ground?
January 6, 2025 at 9:28 pm #296690Did anyone go to Jerry’s Q & A?
