Thought I would but this back on,Fans64.
The post on “ Bob Dylan”, you gave the idea nobody knew what “woke” meant,by posting a You tube clip.
I respond by this opening video,to completely state what “woke” means.
Some on here refused to look at it,looking at your post,I guess you didn’t either.

It’s a good job we have bpg to lecture us on everything given we have no brains of our own and he can never be wrong. :-)

Anybody got Bob Dylan’s greatest Hits Volume 2? Wonderful album from Watching The River Flow all the way through to When I Paint My Masterpiece and Lay Lady Lay. His trio of songs accompanied by Happy Traum on second guitar and banjo are truly epic particularly the epic Down In The Flood. Dylan at his cracking soaring best, performing such a range of style contrats within his work, we are truly blessed to have been born into a time when this songwriting genius began, flourished and totally dominated the songwriting scene from the sixties way through into the seventies, eighties and beyond. Only Lennon and McCartney can rival him in dominance of songwriting success, I think we have been a very lucky generation to witness these geniuses and many other fine singer songwriter’s come up and flourish in our lifetime.

I love playing I Shall Be Released on the acoustic guitar, what a song, the version on Volume 2 is sublime.
