Interesting to see comments.
December 15, 2021 at 5:17 pm #219259We lost but probably scored the best goal by a Scunthorpe player or through build up for years.

December 15, 2021 at 5:53 pm #219260Played well, two mistakes just after half time cost us. Left back was very good. No.6 for Man Ure was excellent. Rain was coming through the roof ! My first visit there in 50 years !! Lou Macari fish shop was closed ! Obviously didn’t expect many away fans, 720 went, not sure they all came home. UTWI
December 15, 2021 at 6:17 pm #219262Probably the biggest away following of the season. Well at least hope so.
December 15, 2021 at 7:08 pm #219265Fantastic performance by our young lads played in atrocious conditions. Thoroughly enjoyable evening. Well done Mr Daws for producing such a talented bunch of lads.
The experience was tainted however by a group of mindless morons who abused the generosity of Simon Elliott, who laid on 3 free coaches, by deciding they would trash one of them in a drink and drug fuelled rampage.December 15, 2021 at 7:23 pm #219266Fantastic performance by our young lads played in atrocious conditions. Charlie O’Neill was bought by Man U from Man City in 2020 – they paid £750,000 !! – how can others compete with that.
May 13, 2022 at 10:05 am #237314Man utd went on to win it against forest, 67000 crowd with nearly 6000 forest fans in attendance, shows what a good performance our young uns did.

I wonder what their Academy operating budget is for the season?
I’m sure if you visited the academy office at High Ridge, you’d get a coffee made for you à la mode of that which Baldrick used to brew in Blackadder Goes Forth!
May 13, 2022 at 12:28 pm #237320Money has always been the issue in football particularly more so since the Premier league came along, we can’t compete with bigger clubs financially, wow what a revelation!!🙄

May 14, 2022 at 9:11 am #237357Highlight for me was Swann announcing he was selling up.

I know and if he keeps borrowing money against the ground he probably never will, unfortunately the club will dissappear and thats my concern.
