Winger from Mansfield on loan, 20 years old but played over 40 games for the Stags
January 24, 2022 at 2:51 pm #230402Hope he’s as good as his old man was.
January 24, 2022 at 4:31 pm #230407Frank or Trevor?
January 24, 2022 at 4:39 pm #230409January 24, 2022 at 4:57 pm #230410It’s Frank but I suspect his football might be more like Sir Clive’s.

January 24, 2022 at 8:13 pm #230428This Tyreese Sinclair comes highly rated, supposed to be more of an attacking central midfielder who can also play as a second striker.
I do hope we sign an experienced CM player now to underpin the midfield, especially as Kenyon is doing his best impression of lord lucan.

January 24, 2022 at 8:26 pm #230430As with any player, sincerely wish the lad the best of luck here.
However, he’s not a player with a track record that suggests he’s going to help get us out of the mire.

Really ?. He has plenty of games under his belt so has experience, not scored that many goals but got a run at the end of last season and scored a few.
Least he’s not come here as a rookie. I suppose that’s a step forward at least !

I don’t think any one player can help get us out of the mire.
As many have suggested since before the window opened 4/5 new additions minimum was the requirement.
Not sure why we needed another right-back who can’t defend, but at least a forward and an attacking winger/midfielder is a positive.
Still short though, and still odds on to go down, but one last hurrah might be nice.

January 24, 2022 at 11:08 pm #230437like the sound of this lad … get him in .
What happened to any Nuttall deal ????
so so far still only Burns has arrived .. circa 6 days to go more so games added players can be involved in are dwindling away.
January 25, 2022 at 4:04 am #230439Still working on Nuttall. I still think we need a midfield general to hold it together and possibly another striker to go with Nuttall “providing we get him” and Burns. Jarvis doesn’t add much and is injured anyway.
KDT is a no mark and Jessop isn’t ready. I would rather we signed a solid CB instead of the RB from Wolves but never mind he’s here now.
I wouldn’t mind a battering ram here for the other option, Calvin Andrew on a free would do. Andrew, Nuttall and Burns would be ok you would have thought.
Nuttall and Burns would be alright, only problem is if either of those two got injured we’re pretty much back to square one again a we’ve no depth up there.

Millen – disappeared
Green – disappeared
Rowe – needed DCM for the injured Kenyon
Pugh – needed midfield because he runs the most
We didn’t have anybody else, also he’s a £1 million player so he must be better than those we have who aren’t worth anything like that in total.January 25, 2022 at 10:28 am #230448Wasn’t Bedeau a £1 million player when he went to Villa?
January 25, 2022 at 10:28 am #230449Nuttall has definitely had a medical.

Put Onarise up front, full John Beck long ball tactics. We’d look much more dangerous.
January 25, 2022 at 11:05 am #230451Maybe not announcing nutall until the last possible moment for tactical reasons 😂

30 odd games for Mansfield and a loan spell at Radcliffe isn’t plenty of games.
January 25, 2022 at 12:04 pm #23045330 odd games for Mansfield is better than 20 odd games for Hemel Hemstead or German 4th tier, it’s a start.

January 25, 2022 at 12:09 pm #230454If the yardstick for our signings this January is ‘anything better than KDT’ we really are up shit creek.

How do we know? Have we ever seen enough of him to gauge an opinion? I seem to remember people were pretty positive about the game he started at Crawley last season.

People need to start realising where we are in the league and how much we’re paying. If we sign Nuttall, another striker and a commanding CM player, Hill would have done bloody well.
If possible now we’ve signed Sinclair, I’d let go of Hallam and see if we can shift KDT and get an experienced solid CB if at all possible.
January 25, 2022 at 3:44 pm #230466I know full well where are in the league; additionally I’ve seen us on a tight budgets before in league 2 where with a solid recruitment strategy and a scout who wasn’t employed because he’s the chairman’s son, we consistently brought in a calibre of player who was fit for purpose.
Nothing would please me more than Sinclair to bag 2 tonight and put in a MOTM performance, but in the cold light of day he is a young kid and getting thrown into a league 2 relegation dogfight with a poor side.
Stevenage have signed a few experienced heads and are 2 wins and 2 draws in January. We, on the other hand, haven’t scored a goal. Stevenage have historically rarely had more than 3k through the gates. Why can they do it ?
January 25, 2022 at 4:09 pm #230469If that was an exam question our pens wouldn’t leave the paper!
