It’s 25 years to the day, today, since Garcia scored for Scunthorpe United in the Division Three Play Off Final at Wembley Stadium.

What a ride that season was!

And what a ride it has been since.

What a special day! I can still see the noise! Kinda feels longer ago. A lot can happen and change in 25 years – Good and bad to the extreme and some stuff in-between.

Almost half a lifetime ago for me, such a special day.

At the time it was our first promotion in 15 years. We then had 4 more in the next 15 years; we’re now on a 10-year run without a promotion.
