There were a few in here that estimated the land value to be much less than £10k a few years ago. Not sure what evidence they had of that though. Think it was all guesswork.

Guesswork from members of the bru forum!!!, how very dare you sir.

Some land as just become available off the A1077 very near to glanny park 100 acres suitable for a residential village of 1000+ homes on at 4.5 million guide price probably 10 times the acreage of glannys land. That’s the nearest I can get Deerey and the land is flat farmland with no tinpot of a ground on it.

I would think that the stadium, car parks and the training pitch with its land surrounds is probably worth a total of probably about £15 million, but with Peter having the club and its fans interest at heart, has very much reduced its sale price because he wants the best possible deal for any new ownewrs and all the clubs supporters, I was talking to UpTheIron99 the other day, and he has the same feelings.

Just for the record, are there any Scunny fans or ex-fans that actually believe that the sale will ever go through??????????????????????????????????????????, next thing is for the club announcement that the deal has fallen through, same as I have predicted all season, and sadly my record of predictions is very good.

Just looked on the Happy Clapper Facebook group, no concerns on there they’re just trying to flog stuff to each other now.

Won’t hear anything until other side of Christmas unless Ollie Turner prods for a bit more.

Are the staff paid after Christmas then?
Must make things difficult for the office staff on normal salaries?

I think wages will be paid due to the sale of Nuttall and two decent gates (Notts County & Chesterfield) but after that, unless a sale is completed, January is looking pretty desperate.

Most employers bring the December wages forward so as the staff can buy a spuggie, a couple of sprouts, a potato and a can of shandy.
    Inflation.
    Cost of living crisis.
    Fuel crisis.
    Bah humbug.
    Merry Christmas.

I feel sure that Peter will come up with any cash requirements, just like he always has done, that’s why I cannot understand all the fans resentment, what is the saying?, “better the devil you know” than the so called new buyers!!!!

Enjoy the Christmas guys, and all the Very Best for the New Year, hope it is a lot better than the last six of them!!!

Now everyone has seen what building land down there costs, do people still think he just wants the club to go under and sell the land to developers, if so please explain you reasoning behind it.

Has anything “he” has done looked like it was reasoned out?

Some of it for sure NI especially the new ground at the time, but not now we’re non lge must be like coming to Wembley for some of the away fans not the tin shed we see, I could see his reasoning for all the spending to get back to the championship but with a little club like ours there was no room for failure to achieve it and sadly that’s what happened and once Mrs Swann shut the purse we were toast.

This supposed takeover is worrying with the amount of time it’s taking. Turnbull said there would be questions answered in the next 7 days but from that interview nobody has heard a thing.

I have a horrible feeling Swannster is going to move the goalposts in terms of price and Sharp and co will end up walking away.

    Do you mean £10m?

Struggle to get a decent sized shed for £10k these days 😂

    Ha ha, £10m, yes!

On another note, I see they’re still flogging Centenary Wall bricks, so hopefully the stadium remains.
