Turnbull has just stated that Sharp met karin and Peter Swann yesterday and has made Swann an offer with Turnbull saying it’s up to them whether they accept now. Turnbull said that he likes to think some of the questions will be answered within the next 7 days.

Appears Sharp and co only really verbally agreed a fee with Swann but now is the time in which Swann actually decides to really accept it or not. Turnbull states that Sharp is still in negotiations with Swannster and hopefully he’ll conclude a deal.

    Well, well, well.

Listen to it from the 6th minute mark.

This certainly isn’t the impression we were all given.

    Turnbull needs to go!!

Another person formally held in high regard who’s destroying his legacy by coming back into Peters car crash of a situation!!!
    Tonight’s interview was pathetic!

In terms of the takeover… This is Swanns last chance to walk away with a shred of dignity but I fear he will absolutely blow it… the man’s track record is shambolic!!!!

My favourite bit of the interview…
‘The fee is somewhere between £1 and £1,000,000’ 🤣😂🤣
    Brilliant!! I couldn’t stop laughing… not!!
Followed by… ‘this club has sold strikers before for business reasons’
Yes Lee but selling Sharp for 2million pound and bringing in beckford as his replacement while in league 1 pushing for promotion to the championship isn’t really the same as selling the only person who’s scoring goals (for next to nothing) when your bottom of the national league is it???

Does this latest statement and info come as a shock to any SUFC supporter, I very much doubt it, with the bold statement stil vividy displayed on Iron-bru that Swann has come to an agtreement for sale of the football club, now todays report is that Mr Sharp madw the Swanns an offer yesterday and Peter has gone away to ponder things, how much more bullshit are fans supposed to swallow before it is deemed enough is enough ???.

So no agreement was made last week and an offer was only submitted yesterday ha ha!.

Yes he did probably come to an agreement of the verbal variety which means feck all.

I was under the impression that Swann decided to sell the club and had agreed a cast iron fee and we were just waiting for it to finalize.

It appears Swann hasn’t even accepted or declined a formal bid !

All this talk of new dawn was way wide of the mark.

How can Sharp n co be going through due diligence when a Swann seemingly hasn’t even received a formal bid yet ?

I suspect the sale of Nuttall will be used to pay this coming month’s wages in case this drags out.

If nothing else at least Ian and Simon had their photo shoot as owners.

Until due diligence has been conducted and completed you cannot agree a price.

You need to find out all the ‘hidden’ liabilities first. Good luck to Simon, Ian and associates.

Neither Swann or Ian and Simon said a cast iron fee had been agreed WG.

Agreed but it does seem Simon isn’t very forthcoming with info were probably gonna be in the same boat as we were(are) with Swanny he wouldn’t tell us why he quit as director when he did. Just not convinced at the moment.

If they’re in the middle of due dilligence and finalising a deal, why do people expect them to be giving statements, just because Nuttall left? The deal could take weeks or months yet.

That’s not a ‘cast iron fee’ is it.

No, not exactly said a cast iron fee had been agreed but when you read such headlines, it gives off the impression it’s been sorted and we’re just waiting for it to be finalized. Matt’s also latest podcast titled “new dawn” was a further indication people just got far too ahead of themselves.

This has been a huge balls up. The club PR department need their knuckles wrapped. This should have been treat with caution when the news broke.

A bloody formal bid hasn’t even been accepted yet.

I am calm. I just think people took the news and ran too far with it.

Who do you think will pay the wages at the end of the month?
Mr Swann or Mr Elliott & Mr Sharp?

Given that Swann didn’t pay this months wages, all of this is becoming very concerning IMO. If this deal doesn’t happen then the club will sadly come to an end IMO.

It seems odd to dispose of assets while a prospective buyer is doing diligence. My head says the deal is dead.

So, are we speculating that Mr Swann has sold Joe in order to pay December’s wages?
If not, and the deal doesn’t take place – then will we be in administration at the end of December / beginning of January?

All controlled by the EGO. Good manners would surely lead to a JOINT STATEMENT. But not with the EGO – always trying to control the situation. Stopped believing one word or trusting him since 2015 !

The club have made a statement, Turnbull as made a statement, surely now it’s up to Ian and Simon to make a statement Sanfran they really don’t need Swanny’s permission.

Nuttall fee. Swann’s obviously not here but Turnbull will be acting on his behalf.

Any takeover news? Just a question, in case anybody has any updates from anyone in the know, not an invitation for a barage of conspiracy theories and unsubstantiated guff and knicker wetting. Thanks

Do we know the value of the land?
If it’s worth £10m, then he ain’t going to take £5m.

As Mr Edmonds used to ask:
    Deal or No Deal?

There were a few in here that estimated the land value to be much less than £10k a few years ago. Not sure what evidence they had of that though. Think it was all guesswork.
