Correct, M.M. Early 90s. We scored three times in the first half-hour and contrived to lose 3-4.
Bobby was the recovery match from three down to win against Oldham away in September 1967. Can’t find a match report but I remembered the score and checked out it was correct.🤔

No, that game was 2-2 at half time IA. You’re in the right era though and it was an away match.

I remember hearing it come in on the BBC full time results on the radio les. Reason it sticks out in my memory is because as the announcer read out ” Oldham Athletic 3″ my elder brother started laughing but when the ” Scunthorpe United 4 ” came out my brother said ” bloody hell ” . Was funny at the time anyway.
