October 3, 2020 at 7:16 am #195311Cox needs to play 4-4-2 and attacking football, players played in their natural positions.UTI !

October 3, 2020 at 2:25 pm #1953364-4-1-1?
IRON: Watson, Bedeau, Gilliead, Loft, Hippolyte, Spence, Vincent, Cordner, Hornshaw, Taylor, O’Malley.
IRON SUBS: Kelsey, Onariase, Eisa, Green, Jarvis, Beestin, Dünnwald-Turan.
So no place for Colclough and McAtee in the squad.
October 3, 2020 at 2:26 pm #195337Giving it a miss today, no right back, no Colclough, McAtee, Hallam in squad, Eisa on bench so boring Wilcox style boring sit back tactics I expect so can’t warrant £10 today, getting disillusioned with Neil after being promised exciting attacking 4 4 2 football.
October 3, 2020 at 2:34 pm #195339Says my email or password incorrect. Also trying full registration and get to end and says email already being used. 🥺😏

Sticking with it but it’s disappointing again.
October 3, 2020 at 2:39 pm #195342Or we could be optimistic and call it 4-3-3?
October 3, 2020 at 3:55 pm #195343That was misplaced optimism.
Better side, no goal threat whatsoever again.
October 3, 2020 at 4:04 pm #195344Completely agree DSGM.
Might help if we had our best player not sat on the bench…..
October 3, 2020 at 4:30 pm #195345I’ve had enough, going to find something else to do on a Saturday afternoon….
too many poor goals conceded, with teams not having to work hard to score against us, whilst we carry absolutely no threat up front.
Last week we were fortunate that Watson had a blinder.
October 3, 2020 at 4:31 pm #195346What a waste of a tenner !!
October 3, 2020 at 4:52 pm #195348Previous managers have got sacked for better than what is being served up at present……..
October 3, 2020 at 4:54 pm #195349Another poor defeat by another poor team.

Topics: 4Woeful. We looked in control first half, but had no-one who can create chances. Then we resort to kick and rush and Taylor, who was playing well in the hole first half, gets dragged into being a more defensive position.
It’s a young and inexperienced team, but we do have players in there who did well last season, in Gillead, Eisa and McAtee. One doesn’t make the squad, the other is benched for the poor Hippolyte and the other is constantly forced into playing centrally and narrowly, away from the position he excelled in last season. Rather than trying to reinvent the wheel, why doesn’t Cox just try to build on our strengths?
October 3, 2020 at 5:05 pm #195354Absolutely pathetic performance, probably won’t bother watching for a while now. Nice to see Watson back to his usual self after last week’s anomaly.
October 3, 2020 at 5:07 pm #195355It’s the worrying lack of quality. You can forgive Cox for having to put up with the Chairman’s signings (which are generally shit and what you’d expect from a non football type) but playing Gillead right back and sitting Taylor deep – which basically nullified any effect he had on the game is just extremely poor management
October 3, 2020 at 5:16 pm #195357Started so well. Total control but did not often get the ball into danger areas.
Who lost the ball to set up the goal, BTW? – Bedeau? – Then Cordner suckered by the experienced man. Good goal but I was stunned.
That was nothing compared to 2nd half tactics which were lacking. What a shambles. You have control of midfield and opt to surrender it. Lost all of the effectiveness of Taylor by switching role. Thought Vincent had had his best game – off he went!
Appalling goalkeeping.
Why no Onariase? We need him.October 3, 2020 at 5:18 pm #195359Alot of people were happy when Cox got the job ,, why , , ??? No experience, a poor choice in my eyes ,,very poor tactically, use of subs dreadful, always straight swaps, all this its a team, its a team rubbish , promising attacking football, we dont even attack when 2 down,,,, it’s going to be a long season
