Anybody clear where the squad are training next season if we’re evicted from GP? Don’t think that was covered in the latest scrutiny of Mŕ H? Assuming somewhere is lined up but wondering what the monthly charge would be for that?

He said at the fans forum the new training ground would be available September or October.

Although he didn’t say this at the forum there are some good facilities at Ilkeston available at a very reasonable rate for the interim period.

Not the Ilkeston facilities obviously-the new ones. When do players arrive for pre-season training? Early July? Wouldn’t that assume they’ll be training at Ilkeston for at least 3 months till the new facility is available? What if it goes okay there? Why move to a new facility? These questions could be answered a bit more easily if we were told where they’re going to be I suppose. Maybe I’ll have to wait till Barra gets on the phone to him again?

Hilton said he has secured the new training facilities in Scunthorpe but could not disclose the address or move in until the tenants had been informed and moved out.

Sounds like we’re waiting for ourselves to be evicted before we can move back in! See where we end up I suppose.

When I picked up my match day ticket on a Thursday morning I spent at least two minutes watching the training, riveting stuff I think not. 😂

Along with their caravans and ponies?

About time all that grass verge in the middle of Queensway is put to good use. If it was good enough for me to go arse over tit on it inebriated on my push bike when I was much younger, it’s good enough for regional football training. Lower your expectations chaps.

We can always use Everest Road playing field. I am sure the added fun of dodging missiles from the local youths and sprints to stop carjackers from taking the players’ flash Land Rovers or Mercedes-Benz will add some extra routines to training day. ;-)

Jumping off the steamroller roof in the park was good for confidence building.

Which park was that Deerey was it everest road or central park I can’t remember? Jubilee park had the old shunter train in (I think) favorite park just about where the pods is with the witches hat, the plank swing, a proper roundabout, and a rocking horse that seated 5 but often 10 or more. Parents of today would throw a fit at them rides now lol.

Has Jimbob passed his Level 2 yet?
UEFA B licence then the UEFA A Licence to go at after that.
He’ll not need his Pro Licence… can’t see us ever been in the Premier League.

    Training – Jimbob’s qualifications.
He’s got to be the least qualified coach / manager we’ve ever had?

What qualifications did Daws, Hill, Cox and McCall have between them?

Didn’t seem to help much. Mind you if the Swann’s picked his players and team then Pep would no doubt struggle.

Footy on Everest Road used to be about 20-30 per side, turn up and play.

    UEFA A Licence.
McCall probably had the Pro licence?

Happy days, played in many a 20 v 20 game on a Sunday on that field, always next goal wins at home time no matter what the current score was.
