Time to act now Swann get rid of Cox/ Lillis.and bring in a manager who is capable of keeping us up ,with a third of the season gone and yet again the team is in the shit.
You are embarrassing yourself by not sorting this mess out now it seems like you want us relegated without a fight.
A lot of people are saying this is part of the master plan to fold the club and sell the land .The more this fiasco goes on the more this seems a certainty. The clubs future is in your hands Swann show some fight for god sake as your silence is deafening for a change.11 users thanked author for this post.
October 31, 2021 at 11:37 am #216786Didn’t he sack Laws after losing in the first round of the FA Cup to a local rival?

He certainly did Northumbiron, but things are very different now, at that time the club owned its own ground and land and there was no reason for the club not doing well, but administration and liquidation of the club would bring its rewards to one area, as everyone is now suggesting, there is no other way of looking at this sad situation, 2 wins in 28 matches and rock bottom of the football leagues bottom division, and it goes on and on and on, we are the embarrassment of the football league.

October 31, 2021 at 1:13 pm #216791Didn’t Swann say he would be starting work in a month on the ground? the slip road?

October 31, 2021 at 3:40 pm #216800Mr Swann had an ego to prove everyone wrong !
Now it is proving everyone right.

Didn’t he once tell us he was going to build a wonderful fairy tale football ground and take us to a magical land called the Championship where we would all live out our days in football heaven? Or am I thinking of the Land of Chocolate in the Simpsons🤔

October 31, 2021 at 6:05 pm #216812When Wharton was Chairman, Directors used to travel to away matches. Do they still?
As for home games, again Directors attended to watch matches and to receive visiting Directors.
These are matters of courtesy for Directors. Do our current Directors continue to offer such politeness?2 users thanked author for this post.
October 31, 2021 at 6:17 pm #216813They don’t go to home matches now

Perhaps this is why he’s not attending.
Waiting until the new road is built so he can “slip” away unnoticed once the supporters start baying for blood!

October 31, 2021 at 9:11 pm #216836His last radio interview with Matt Dean he said within a month they would be starting work. Now I know Swann has never let us down before with dates/deadlines
so I was just puzzled…4 users thanked author for this post.
October 31, 2021 at 9:25 pm #216838Who gives a shite about any of that, I’d rather he paid the loan up and get rid of this bloody transfer embargo currently slapped on us and sorted the squad out.
Get rid of the injury prone bunn and up to press Kenyon and the utter dross O’neil for starters.
Much more important than ground improvements anyway, not going to be worth crap all if we’re non league next season.

October 31, 2021 at 9:30 pm #216839EFL loan has to go first otherwise – we have zero chance with it outstanding.

He has said so many things over the past eight years ironawe, but the only one that has come to being is that the club ran up £12 million of debt under his wing, all the other 9 items are still awaiting acting on, possibly better to look out for the old “preverbrial pinch of salt!”

These are matters of courtesy for Directors. Do our current Directors continue to offer such politeness? No Inspector, the clutch of Swanns used to attend until this season mate, but when they stopped attending games Peter asked his buddy UTI-99 to stand in for him and meet away directors and tell them how well the club is being run by owners and staff that are doing a great job, he also told the directors that if they had any complaints, it was the Scunny fans to blame!!

November 1, 2021 at 12:30 pm #216872Hopefully.
November 1, 2021 at 12:41 pm #216873Given how things are turning out Peter Swann has, I’m afraid, even lost support from those fans who have always backed the chairman and owner of the club, including me.
It is very clear that Cox and Lillis cannot get the team out of trouble and if Swann really does have the club’s interests at heart then they MUST go. If this doesn’t happen within the next couple of weeks — and that’s being generous — then even the likes of myself will have to concede that Swann really doesn’t care.
A very, very sad situation.
