December 17, 2022 at 6:26 pm #250666Let me see…is one supposed to be governing the country whilst the other is the opposition Party?

December 17, 2022 at 6:32 pm #250667Wonder if Dick Madeley will “hold them to account” for his viewers
December 17, 2022 at 11:14 pm #250670Dick Alan Partridge Madeley. The right’s answer to Tony Wilson.

I’m sure BPG’s above comment was tongue in cheek but the fact it got a thumbs up from BS shows that there are people out there who think that way.
They’re the ones who don’t vote in elections or take no interest in what the government is, or isn’t doing.
They are manna from heaven for our mid-term Tories. Their disinterest gives the cabinet carte blanche to do what they want. Usually in their own self interest.
The great disinterested were more interested in voting in the “Strictly” final last night than in the next election. More bothered about who wins the World Cup Final than who forms the next government.
And still the diversionary tactics continue. “Immigration is what Britons are concerned most about” they were telling us last week. Well I beg to differ, but the cost of heating their homes and rampant inflation may just top that!
And just to keep the shit-pot stirring we conveniently have striking workers to boo instead of our MPs.
Look over there! Illegal immigrants, striking nurses, foreign despots.
It’s a tactic as old as civilisation itself. And some are still failing for it.

December 18, 2022 at 1:05 pm #250685And the mugs don’t seem to be bothered that the party they voted for have done absolutely naff all about the issues that they voted for them for.
Apart from “getting Brexit done”, but it isn’t is it? The only thing that has been done are the mugs who voted for it.
December 18, 2022 at 1:17 pm #250686You’re not allowed to call them mugs Heath, or disparage them NI. For showing an interest in politics and above reading glorified comics you’re deemed arrogant, a traitor, or elite. What can you do eh?
December 21, 2022 at 6:39 pm #250774I completely agree. The problem is that Labour have been as useless in opposition as the Tories have in government. We seem to have the most useless bunch of leaders ever and it seems to be the same across the UK. Scotland and Wales have massive problems, which cannot be laid entirely at the door of Westminster.
December 22, 2022 at 9:30 am #250831One thing doesn’t change, if you are in charge, if you want to be in power, if you want to govern your country, then you carry the can when things start going tits up. This government like a lot of its number since 2010 just kick the can down the road rather than carry it.
December 22, 2022 at 1:54 pm #250846Bucks wheeling out his Christmas sack of BS I see!

December 22, 2022 at 6:37 pm #250870Nothing like a constructive comment, Deerey, and, as usual, that is nothing like a constructive comment. Just the usual personal attack.

December 22, 2022 at 8:42 pm #250884So being in charge and accepting responsibility isn’t constructive enough for you eh Buck’s? Fair enough I will let you put your head back in the sand and carry on.

Apologies if you were offended. Just an observation my friend, just an observation.
