The current number 10 is a superb piece of work.

World Cup 1998 when we beat Columbia on the Friday I mentioned to Mrs Two that I wouldn’t mind going to the Argie match, she said ‘why don’t you go’. So, just after midnight I drove down to Dover got an early ferry and left my car there, train from Calais to St Etienne then spent four nights sleeping on the train station floor! The English press were full of crap, telling us that if your name didn’t match the name on the ticket, you’d be denied entry to the match. Having paid £300 to an old Frenchman for a ticket, my name is now Monsieur Bouchard!
    Happy days, great memories.

    It’s our time.

Barely one month into wedded bliss and I took Mrs NI to the opening game of the 82/83 season. A storming 0-0 away at Hartlepool.

Strangely enough she never asked to go again!

I finally got my Mrs to an Iron game this season (Newport County at home), strangely enough she hasn’t asked to go to any other games either.

She even had the cheek to say to me “I think you only go to football to get away from me because there is no way you go for entertainment”
