Been off the radar last few days .. only saw the fantastic Kiddy win today as very sadly my brother passed away suddenly on his birthday and have been attending his funeral in Northern Thailand , indeed a week that has and will change life for ever..
I am now the last remaining from our direct family, very sad as he left not only a beautiful wife but a young son.

On the footy front …..i hope all keep a level head and take a game at a time .. no more HMS piss the league this year as it made us look twats last season.

As for Curzon A they stuffed us last season so a bit of payback would not go a miss.

For me football is and always be just a game , i will follow SUFC where ever they play ..

There is more to life than the footy … thought it does help keeping ones mind active in times of intense grief.

At times like this, IFA, it adds validity to the saying …’Football is the most important of the least important things.’
    Condolences.

“no more HMS piss the league this year as it made us look twats last season”

I don’t think people took much notice apart from Grimsby fans. This season we have a fitter team with a manager who appears to know what he’s doing.

I hope we have many top of the table clashes this season… us in first place with a multitude of clubs battling for the runners up berth.

There is more to life than the footy … thought it does help keeping ones mind active in times of intense grief.

    Amen to that.

I’ll never forget being at Donny the day after Billy Sharp’s infant child had died. I was watching with a family member who had been through a similar experience. The tears of pain during the minute’s silence turned to tears of joy when Sharp scored and celebrated wildly. I can’t imagine what Sharp was feeling that night but I imagine those 90 minutes will have helped him deal with it all.

Sorry for your loss IFA, remember you’re always part of the Iron family.
