Ivan Toney brought some NLN level shithousery to the Premier League last night, moving the ball and some of the refs squirty cream to get a better angle for a free kick which he scored. As he got away with it , just like a player at our level would if not seen, it highlights the pointless existence of var.

I really wish that we had signed him as we would have received a hefty profit on our investment.

However you look at it, the money would have gone into the Club. Whatever happened to it after that was down to Swann – and there’s a man that lost a lot of money on his “investment”.

Also, if we had bought Toney we might not be in the situation that we are now, and yes, I know that is mere speculation. He certainly would have made us a better scoring team.
