Time to start playing your strongest team Mr Cox,and stop pissing about with negative formations.Nows the time for the exiting attacking football you promised.
For far to long this club has had to many sicknotes, wage thief’s and players who are simply not up to league standard, and our chairman who has promised lots over the years and delivered FA must take the brunt of the blame.
Our season starts now,and just remember there are bigger teams than us gone down to non league over the years.
Time for 4-4-2 attacking football and not this one shot a game bullshit.

I thought the season started against Oldham.

    Did it end against Morecambe?

Completely agree with OP. 4-4-2 just f***** works!!! Keep with it. Setting up to counter the opposition has not worked for us, the players look lost with these ridiculous formations/ inept changes. This is all at Swann’s door but the focus will soon be on Cox if he can’t manage properly.

    Let’s see what tonight brings

I’m going with 4-5-1 with lost loft up front or the notorious 3-5-2 which becomes 5-3-2 within 3-4 minutes

They reportedly have 3 of their regular back four missing and only have 3 fit defenders available.

    Looks like 5-4-1 again then.

I’d stick McAtee up top with Loft but Cox would probably pass out to do excessive positivity.

I’d go Butroid at LB. O’Malley will turn out the better of the two but I’d go for Butroid because he has that bit more experience.

The trouble is Neil doesn’t believe we play negative football when you listen to his reports of games or previews the next game,
Even Southend had 14 shots at goal against Bolton twice as many as we had, and it is every game we only seem to get 1 or 2 shots on target.

If this is true then we’ll never have a better chance to attack a team!
Still expecting Bedeau at LB so we can go 3 CBs if we fluke the first goal.
