It’s the right time for Peter to get players in.
If not tell the fans why not.
Give us something to look forward to.
There is no movement on the development side.
There’s no movement on the fans zone.
There’s no movement on the engagement with the fan’s.
But you want the fan’s to get behind you.
Yes I have got my season ticket again.
This as got to be your final season prove the fan’s wrong.
    That you do listen
    Up the Iron

If I was cynical I might think Ernest Pawn was doing this on purpose to make the club financially unviable and then the inevitable housing development could begin.

Of course that would never happen because we were guaranteed a 999 year lease. Already reduced by 900 years and we have all seen the binding paperwork of course.

    Lalalalalala

PS got to dash I have a meeting with Father Christmas and the Easter Bunny and want to get a good seat before the Tooth Fairy arrives.

And the very reason Pawn does as he pleases and treats everyone with disdain is in your last paragraph Marty.

Utterly crap product peddled by someone who obviously doesnt give a ****, yet you bought it anyway….sigh

Oh, the players will be coming in but I am now thinking that we shall be seeing loadsa hoping-for-the-bests in the loans market.

I have not been quite so despondent about the Iron since those heady days of re-election to the league.

    True Les.
Who would have thought since those dark days we would get a legendary manager to transform the club and give us years and years of unbelievable times, thrilling football ,nearly 400 home league goals in ten glorious years ,followed by a manager who just had to keep the ship on a straight course to achieve further glory.Happy times which seems a long distant past.

If we look in the right areas for loans we could be OK. We’ve done well with players from Forest & Huddersfield for example but less well with loanees from Prem clubs.

We do remember the handful of good uns but there are far more abusers of oxygen whose names we can barely bring to mind.

So an average of less than 40 home goals per season, less than 2 per game.
Thrilling football? Hardly sets the pulse racing does it?

You make it sound as if achieving two promotions to the Championship was as easy as making toast.

Not too many certainly, just have to temper bills overenthusiasm with a little reality.

Sorry IA but if you have never had any personal Christian experience yourself it’s impossible to speak with any authority on something others have encountered when you have not.
You have to make a guess.

    Indeed.

So should players cross themselves when then walk onto the pitch or is it a Catholic conspiracy?

Many believe ( no pun intended ) that christianity, indeed religions in general, are the biggest conspiracy theories ever, it’s just an opinion on a subject, no need to get uptight people.

There are many things to comment here, but I will try to refrain. I don’t agree with Christian beliefs, but don’t think it’s fair to make out that to be Christian makes you out of touch with reality. Humans harbour all sorts of irrational beliefs, outside of religion, and many theists are reasonable.

BPG doesn’t appear to be one of them, but others exist and IA’s statement lumps them in with BPG.

JI: The clock is ticking for the great Prophet Zarquon to make his appearance at the restaurant at the end of the Universe.
