Controversial opinion maybe and almost certainly pie in the sky but why not set ALL ticket prices for next season at season ticket levels? People who want season tickets will still buy them regardless of what other people are paying and that way it will only cost casual fans £15 instead of £25 to walk up for a given match. £25 is a lot of money for people who aren’t die-hard fans, especially now, and if they’re coming as a family it adds up really quickly. It’s got to be worth trying to get more people through the gate, hasn’t it? After all, the chairman himself has said that we only have a small fanbase, surely it needs to be a priority to expand that supporter base?

“surely it needs to be a priority to expand that supporter base?”

You’d think so wouldn’t you, it seems like a sensible business plan to increase revenue and help secure the future. I’m not sure that everybody sees it that way, only happy clappers and non-critics welcome.

And it can’t be easy to take the risky step of cutting prices at times like this but I really believe that next season people will see £25 for a ticket very differently from how they did 18 months ago.

The prices are fine and the offer of bringing 2 kids for free is excellent, people will pay it but not to watch boring dire football, though having said that lots of you have continued to pay this season so maybe I am wrong.
