    And there’s plain silly.
I have to admit to a wry smile at posts from the usual suspects lauding our latest “success”.

Rude awakening lads: still in the relegation positions, still can’t win away, now on course for, what, 40 points?
    Doesn’t look optimistic to me🙁

Oh…and Swann’s still hanging around like a fart injected into the sofa😠

Why are you taking pleasure from seeing long suffering paying fans being a little optimistic, misplaced or not?

I take no pleasure in seeing misguided optimism.
Nor do I take pleasure in others misfortunes.
    I do call out silliness.
And I dont think our present unbeaten run is owt special.
Perhaps when we’re no longer in the relegation places?

Glad you’ve cleared that up. It’s just on face value, the OP looked like it could have been written by a fan of a rival club. Think it was the ‘wry smile’ bit.

How dare people express any hope or optimism, the miserable, positive swines!

Henceforth, everyone must be as negative, joyless and misanthropic as Alcazar. His is the only acceptable mood on this board, no looking on the bright side or embracing of a better future will be accepted.

After watching the Oldham.highlights i came to.the conclusion ..yes we are finding the net more frequently alas yesterday catastrophic oldham.definding handed us our 2 goals there werent really made by our players .. Beestin was excellent ..but yet again sat back trying to hold iut n paid the price ..we cannit defend well.enoigh to constantly do this ..our defense is crap.
Bottom.of the table is very tight and a home win over Aldershit is a must nithing else will do ..it would move us out the bottom.fiur n well.up.the rable if other results go our way …so lets all.pray for a win this saturday
Btw great support by the 400 plus scunny fa s that went to.oldham…well done

Which, given how rotten my life currently is, hopefully won’t be long.

Get yourself to a match Alcy, catch up with some old pals, even if you might not enjoy the footy or lining your best bud’s pockets?

I really must agree, that things have got a bit better during the past 5 matches, but at the same time, it must be faced that Scunny have only WON ONE MATCH in the past eleven games, and as Sanfran points out, the club is second from bottom of a non-league devision, so not much to shout about is there???. No one is pleased or happy to see the sate of our club, and it is very wrong to state that anyone is gloating at our sorry state of affairs, we would love to see Scunny climb up the table, but that will only happen if they start winning a few matches, draws are ok if a few wins are scattered amongt results, and this is even more the case with the club taking only three points from their first seven matches.

There are about seven or eight teams with only about three points between each of them, so a couple of wins would see a rise out of the bottom four, Saturday would be a good time to start with, being at home to another very poor team in Aldershot.

Small steps in my opinion, yes we are still in the relegation places, but we are not losing week in week out and there are now some goals, fight and effort in games, something we have seen precious little of for a long, long time.

The two goals at Oldham were gifted to us.

If it wasn’t for their penalty I’d have said our luck may be changing too.
