Does anyone know if they were minuted? Anything published about them?
January 20, 2022 at 12:56 pm #222150Don’t know. But went to a season ticket holders forum recently. Just the same SWANN talking in riddles and not acknowledging reality or the truth. Supporters just been fed the usual rubbish.

January 20, 2022 at 12:59 pm #222151SWANNS words were we won’t go out of the football league, we’re good enough to stay up, and when asked said the loan would be paid off IF NECESSARY.

January 20, 2022 at 2:52 pm #222161We are a matter of days from self-destruction.
I wonder if NOW might be an appropriate time?It is the job of club boards to manage budgets efficiently – and that does not mean to spend extravagantly and then slam on the brakes so hard that the tyres don’t just burn away but all the wheels come off too.
This is NOT the fault of the fans!

January 20, 2022 at 3:08 pm #222163When SWANN took over our Club he made it clear to the existing directors that they would have to put more money in or leave if I remember correctly, so this left just his boardroom family and Rodwell. He didn’t want any other directors on the board who could have opinions that would matter to the future of Scunthorpe United and could change his plans. So this is where we are leaving just SWANN to decide whether any attempt is made to try and keep us in the Football League or are relegated. It feels like a lamb to the SLAUGHTER!!!!

January 21, 2022 at 1:13 pm #230093He said he would have these meetings – he has. Didn’t say he would change did he ??
He has said the EFL loan would be repaid. But didn’t say what season, year or decade did he ? ?
He did say he would leave the club in a better state than when he arrived – He didn’t say when he would leave did he ??

Elliott is on the board now so I’d hope he is doing everything possible as a fan.
January 21, 2022 at 2:30 pm #230096‘Everything possible’ within given parameters is more likely, like the manager I suppose. Simon seems to be working on healing the rift between the Telegraph and the boardroom at the moment. Whilst it needs doing there are more pressing issues IMO, with little time remaining.
