Blyth 2-1
South Shields 2-1
Spennymoor 2-1
Gloucester 1-1
L15 £9
Acca £1£10 total spend with the very, very remote possibility of snatching £10,462 from Billy Hill.
November 2, 2023 at 4:06 pm #276251Seen Blyth Power a few times many years ago.
November 2, 2023 at 7:12 pm #276261NI, or anyone else up there, what’s the likelihood of the game being on.
November 2, 2023 at 8:46 pm #276265Pitch inspection Friday 17:00 so the game is obviously in some doubt.

November 2, 2023 at 9:19 pm #276266There was standing water on their pitch on Tues so no surprise it’s in doubt, anyway a nice early decision unless they go for a second inspection on Saturday, we’re due to set off at 8.30.
November 3, 2023 at 10:35 am #276268NI, or anyone else up there, what’s the likelihood of the game being on.
If it’s in doubt then it can only be down to standing water.
Yesterday’s storm didn’t affect the NE much, and it’s dry and sunny here this morning.
A bit of ground maintenance today and it should be okay. No rain forecast overnight either so if it’s playable at 17:00 it’ll be on.

November 3, 2023 at 3:49 pm #276274There’s a pitch inspection at 5pm
November 3, 2023 at 5:16 pm #276279This whole adverse weather forecasting’s a scam. Must be. Matt le Tissue said so, and he’s an expert. In everything.
November 3, 2023 at 6:21 pm #276284Man in flat cap with a whippet just sent a carrier pigeon off should get to know about 10 o’clock tomorrow.
November 3, 2023 at 6:23 pm #276285F me someone shot the pigeon so they had to use social media instead. The game is off.
November 23, 2023 at 5:09 pm #277286Rearranged for Tuesday 12th December.
Anyone still going?
November 23, 2023 at 6:26 pm #277287Depends on whether we can fill the bus, highly unlikely imo.
November 23, 2023 at 6:51 pm #277289Just looked at my email and we can’t fill the bus, you can have my senior ticket NI if you want, give us your son’s pub address and I’ll post it on.

November 23, 2023 at 9:56 pm #277294Thanks Awaywego, but still got my e-tickets on my phone.

November 24, 2023 at 11:06 am #277318What a difference in clubs, just rung Blyth up for a refund left a message with email address for a refund, 10 mins later they rung back saying they had processed it already and will be back in the bank 3/5 days, against our club who make everything so hard even purchasing tickets let alone refunds, you can see why they won the best away non league club of the year in 2021.

November 24, 2023 at 3:14 pm #277332Might be due to the fact they have less supporters and far less enquiries to deal with and also haven’t had major staffing reductions imposed by the ex-owner that most supporters vehemently defended till the last few weeks of his tenure?
November 24, 2023 at 4:52 pm #277335And maybe there just a better run club Deerey, unless we’ve miraculously all of a sudden become a well run club since the takeover, as for the staffing reductions most if not all non league clubs have big reductions most have gone to online tickets operated by a third party so i don’t think we can blame the ex owner there, sure the new owners appreciated him doing so because if he hadn’t they most certainly would have had to, the ex owner brought us hope,a better match day experience and a food experience that fans have being crying out for years, from what has being said up to now from the new owners looks like years of austerity.
December 8, 2023 at 10:12 am #277945What’s the likelihood of the game being on next Tuesday? NI or anyone else up there.
December 8, 2023 at 10:28 am #277947Last forecast I saw for Monday – Tuesday was dry.
December 8, 2023 at 11:45 am #277951+6 Celsius, 46% chance of rain, light winds from the East.
Should be on.
We’re not quite in the Arctic Circle up here!

December 8, 2023 at 2:00 pm #277954Cheers NI, only questioned it with their game cancelled on Tuesday and the weather since and Saturday coming, never been to Hartlepool when its not felt like the artic circle 6° will be tee shirt weather lol.

December 9, 2023 at 8:16 am #277973Five games since their last home win – losing 2 and drawing 2 of the other four games.
We are averaging 1.5 points a game away from home.
A win on Tuesday would take our rolling average points total over five games to two points per game.
A draw will maintain the 1.5 points per game.
21/10 a Blyth win.
24/10 a Draw.
Evens a Scunthorpe win. They have a plus one goal difference over their last five home games.
We have a plus two goal difference over our last five away games.
I’m going to tip a draw.
1-1 @ 5/1
0-0 @ 10/1
2-2 @ 12/1Head says 1-1
Gut says 2-2
Heart says 1-2 @ 15/21 user thanked author for this post.
December 11, 2023 at 7:30 pm #278089Tuther side says there’s a pitch inspection tomorrow at 11.30.
December 11, 2023 at 7:35 pm #278090I have a ticket from the postponed match and was planning to get to this match however the flooding in Yorkshire means that two of the three ways out of the village are currently closed, and we expect the third to struggle tomorrow!
I guess I’ll buy the stream and watch that instead.
