Now the dust is finally starting to settle, and we begin to pick up the pieces left behind from one of the most turbulent times of our history, how do we move forward as a club?
What can the club do to encourage more people down?
How do we achieve sustainability by utilising GP 7 days a week?
How can the site be developed to benefit the club and the community?
Think it has to be small steps with many things to sort and debts to be paid before we can start thinking about the next chapter in our very distressing past.
We have finally got rid of the biggest crook (Hilton) and the man (Swann) who he knew would run into the ground for him, Michelle and her board have performed miracles in getting not only the club but the ground as well.
They now need everyone to keep doing what they are doing in supporting the club and hopefully the team can achieve their goal and win promotion to help bring more support and money into the club.
I for one didn’t think we would see Christmas games at GP ever again after Hilton basically cut and run leaving the club to die, so all the supporters have had a early Christmas present, so let’s be loud, proud and support the club tonight and every game they can attend to help drive us forward.
I think this is a good small step.
Can’t see from the photo any promotion of the super draw lottery, they really should be pushing it it’s money for nothing I will go down to the market to have a look myself. I bumped into a season ticket holder the other day and he said we all need to get behind the club I asked if he’d joined the lottery he said what lottery, well that’s another £10 a month they’ll be getting in now he knows about it, not everybody uses the club web page or the social media sites.
