Would any income generated from upcoming games end up in Swanns pocket if the deal isn’t quite over the line?

Well if the new partners are paying the late wages owed NOW then I presume they will want to take charge of Saturdays gate receipts, seems reasonable enough to me to expect that.

I don’t think Elliott and Sharp would have paid this month’s wages if they had any doubts that the deal will fall through

i’ll believe it when it changes hands. The “we needed to get the wages paid” makes me think they wanted/needed to get a big crowd in for the Notts County game on Saturday.

But if true, great. looking forward to standing on the Donny Road again. Still expecting to be in the Conference North, but you sometimes have to fall back to push forward.

I’m a very emotional Iron fan tonight, and am not embarrassed to say I shed a tear of joy at the news.

But as others above say it isn’t all going to change for the good overnight. Let’s face it we are still deep in the doo-doo footballing wise.

Let’s hope it’s a new dawn not a false one.

Do any of you know how long will it be until it’s actually gone through ?

If we stay up then great but I fully expect to be playing NLN next year, and to be honest I couldn’t give a shit. Mass clear out and rebuild the club from top to bottom, won’t need a large budget to compete either.

Local games and winning football will bring larger crowds no matter what league we’re.

Not felt this excited about watching the club for years.

No, but given Swann has said he’s agreed a deal and he’s working with Simon and Ian on final due diligence and transition, I think we can stop holding our breath.

He always say he as agreed a deal. Then he says they don’t have any money.
Hope thats not true this time. Don’t trust him one bit

Completely agree with Cliff Byrne’s Right Peg. I cannot see us avoiding relegation this season but we as fans need to patient, this mess will take a long time to sort out, but we have light at the end of the tunnel and taken our first step towards it. UP THE IRON!!!
