So does anyone know what is actually going on?
I hear talk of the club being offered for cash…..
I hear talk of AH sniffing around again……
If our current chairman has the best interest of the club at heart could he just sit in the background and let others run it until a suitable buyer is found?
It really feels to me like we have entered the dark days of ‘Will we even have a club’ again.

Anyway lets hope for a positive future UTI!

Dunno. Could do with a statement from the Board soon though.

Peter Swann should donate the ground to the Iron Trust.

    The least he should do.

Why do people always want something for nothing,it’s up for sale maybe the trust could buy it.

Nothing has changed as far as I know. Don’t listen to rumours so we carry on as we are.

Swann did write off £11,000,000 of debt. Better for the Club than him giving us the ground and then pissing off. However you look at it, Swann has lost many millions over the years (although he was heavily involved in causing said debt), band I don’t blame home for trying to get something for the ground – especially when DH agreed a price, which was less than the market value.

Not defending Swann at all, just pointing out that he could have closed us down at any time, but didn’t. I regard him as a total failure as a football team owner but I do not believe that he wants us closed down.

I agree. He was an incompetent buffoon, out of his depth, petty (see how he probably treated Simon Elliott) and egotistical. Utterly unfit to be owner and one of the worst football owners a club has had. I don’t think he is this comic book villain people make him out to be though. I doubt he gives us much thought now, other than wanting the money he sees as being owed for the stadium.

I doubt as someone have gleefully put it he will announce his departure in the centre circle at the Brackley game.

Board meeting probably going to happen sooner or later…

‘announce his departure in the centre circle at the Brackley game’

Wtf? Who’s suggested that? I’d hope an emergency meeting is in the diary by now. I also hope what staff there are left and investors aren’t getting burned in all this.

The debt was accrued through his ego massaging and pipe dreams.

    Less than market value?

200k an acre without planning, planning issues raised, and a football ground in the middle.

No one is paying anywhere near that.

Agree Booba land is worth £1.5m at best. That’s if the seller covers the cost of demolishing the stadium.

The market price was quoted at the time that the agreement was made & that Swann was willing to accept a lower bud to get an agreement in place. DH thanked him at the time for agreeing the lower rate.

However, I cannot remember what it was nor be bothered to trawl back through loads of posts to find it.

What I will say is that many on here told us it was worth £10M as it was prime retail space and that is why Swann wanted to close the club down. Now it’s only cheap agriculture space. My, how times change.

ON recent events the current buzz around the club could all go tits up and lead to a dip in NLN form , uncertainty abounds for players n staff and teams now know how to set up against us.

At some point if DH walks (i hope he doesnt) im guessing you can not only kiss promotion goodbye but possibly the club as well.

Anything in the rumours DH is actively finding a buyer or just BS ?

A terrible set of circumstances for Jimbob to effectively be cutting his teeth at this level.
