If you don’t know how can you say it was a ruse, like I’ve said before he put more money into the club than he took out, based on gate receipts wages tax bill etc, etc, don’t forget he to took over the club receiving no season ticket money,
sponsorship or shirt sales as well so your financial driven doesn’t stand up.
That leaves your actions of a mad man if that be the case we should thank him because without him and the time he bought for Michelle to step in we wouldn’t have a club because at the time there was no one else to step up to the plate, especially one of the current Co owners who had walked away.

    Wow.

Just think, if Hilton had not won control of the club, he wouldn’t have had to create the Iron Hour podcast.

Highest bid that ultimately didn’t matter, because much of that was for the stadium and he pretty much immediately found excuses for that with the ‘ransom strip’ that was miraculously fixed easier than it was made out when Harness bought it. Almost as if it was an excuse by Hilton.

Quite. In very basic terms, the highest number isn’t always the best offer.

Must have slept through that Ferrite Siderite didn’t realize people were quing up to buy us, bids what bids Swann only wanted a £ for the club and whatever for the ground and Swanny was never going to move on that which we can all agree was fair enough, you cant rewrite history im afraid.

Hilton made excuses for the ground not being bought, yet these excuses were resolved by Harness in a month. That’s not ‘rewriting history’, it is what happened. Dodgy Dave failed, though he wasn’t ever interested in having the club succeed.

You may indeed have slept through it, not remember the Sharp-Elliott bid where they even made a downpayment?

Correct, agree totally with your last sentence , one can only assume Swan n WHAM hated each other so much no way deal was ever gonna get done .. thank the Lord along came Michelle and this was swiftly rectified.

I recall Mr Elliot leaving the BovD but for a club so dear to his heart he has been awfully quiet recently.
