Do you know what Mr Pawn, tonight I am not looking forward to watching the Iron at all, it is not sitting in the cold or even losing the match that fills me with dread, or seeing Loft stick 2 in the back of the net.

It is watching this hapless set of supposed footballers prance about with not a clue among them. They are an absolute embarrassment, no ability, no desire, no commitment , no guile , no passion and they do not care one jot about Scunthorpe United FC or its current league position.

I would say clowns but having read back the latter maybe clones would be more appropriate.

A lot of inexperience and callow youth, yes, but most of their problems are that they have zero leadership on the pitch.

It’s like a young person arriving to begin an apprenticeship in a cabinet maker’s workshop who is told to ‘Get on with it. Make a cabinet. And be sure it’s a good one.’

Yes Swann’s plural….Ernest and Will. Iron King is correct they are all pretty much useless, everyone knows that, Tom Newey admits it, even Hill admits it….not their fault, more the person or persons who recruited them. And that brings us back to Ernest and Will again…
