SS after the horse has bolted! Swann steps down as chairman, announces his intention to sell, has potential new owners in the stand THEN you decide it’s a good time to ‘protest’.
Surely you see how ridiculous that is?He’s right, we should have been doing this months ago.
But for people like UTI, there is never an acceptable form of protest, there is always a reason not to do something. You have to wonder why.

April 11, 2022 at 9:19 am #235381Here’s an idea, maybe they have negotiated as much as they need to! As I say use abit of common sense.
You could well be right, there are a lot of “maybes” in Mr Swann’s business plans.
April 11, 2022 at 9:54 am #235385‘Bucks is noticeable by his absence, he was one of the worst for telling us what idiots we were and that Swann is a brilliant businessman’
And frequently ridiculed me and others for questioning why he was suddenly backing a new stadium when he’d previously dismissed it on the grounds of low supporter base and catchment area, interest, etc, bandying some stats around. Seemingly overnight he bought wholesale into Swann’s plans on spurious grounds, tantamount to believing the hype. When questioned, Bucks would merely reply ‘an entirely predictable attack from you Deerey, when did I ever say that?!’

April 11, 2022 at 10:24 am #235388To be fair to Bucks (and why not) his early unwavering support had much more substance than the pathetic offerings of UTI99 and he’s also now seen the light.

So when you turncoats start on your next scapegoat expect the same arguments.
April 11, 2022 at 11:47 am #235394If the new owner is vegan will your tongue be a different shade of brown do you think 🤔

April 11, 2022 at 12:11 pm #235395Bucks still getting grief even though he hasn’t posted for weeks/months? C’mon Deerey and Pat. I know he rattled your cages but … as they say … life is short.

April 11, 2022 at 1:23 pm #235401Buck’s did come on and apologize to alcy which appears to have been forgotten and he had a post about Swann deleted although a few of us got to read it first, so his viewpoint about the former chairman has certainly changed in recent months to one similarly in line with the majority on here.

April 11, 2022 at 8:34 pm #235442It was as embarrassing as the performance, it was funny but made everyone look a laughing stock, nobody around us were impressed to be honest, this season can’t end fast enough.
Embarrassing?? To who?? Everybody I saw and spoke to thought it was enough to grab the attention of media outlets etc. but not too much as to take it too far. I thought it was perfectly executed and not before time. Certainly didn’t make us look like a laughing stock. Completely the opposite in fact. I’m just sorry more wasn’t done when he was still actually chairman. Disappointed to read such an opinion from a lifelong dedicated Iron fan to be honest.
