Did you read the cynicism from Turnbull when me mentioned the excuse given by the telegraph not to offer coverage ?. You could tell with what he said in the statement he thought it was complete bullshit.

How long before they stop printing the Telegraph altogether, when i go up to see my folks there’s always a pile unsold in the local shop.

Have to buy it for other reasons – family live elsewhere so have to send certain items. Then they get forwarded to New Zealand where old friends moved to decades ago.

Sad thing is the ending of nostalgia, especially the items on old IRON items.

But will agree it is a vastly overpriced poor excuse of journalism. Remember the days when the Star was going – used to get village news, all local sports and actual stories from the area.

Telegraph and Star offices on Donny Road. Just down from OSG between Cons Club and ABC cinema.
