Teenage Kicks, Sonic Youth, Boyz 2 Men!
The combined ages of today’s starting XI is probably less than our five-a-side team!
Sunny Delight and Haribo at halftime?
May 7, 2022 at 4:26 pm #236859It’s ok playing all these kids every week for experience but it’s absolutely destroying our supporters, whether we are relegated or not

May 7, 2022 at 4:38 pm #236861Not sure it’s doing much for the kids either Mick.
Just protects Hill from criticism of the shite he brought in to the club in January.

May 7, 2022 at 4:41 pm #236862What a way to end our time in the football league. I agree can’t be good for the youngsters to experience this.
May 7, 2022 at 4:50 pm #236865Yea I won’t be paying next season to see a team of school kids getting their arses kicked week in week out, today is the most embarrassing day in the history of our club!!!

May 7, 2022 at 4:58 pm #236868Couldn’t agree more Brassy. Hill seems to be also trying to cause as much embarrassment to our club as he can. We are a laughing stock.

May 7, 2022 at 5:22 pm #236879Said on another thread any new owner surely can’t trust Hill to rebuild us, thought Hill was a decent appointment how wrong I was!
As Brassy says can’t even consider a season ticket if we play these young kids every weeK.Yes they might be talented and have ability but they would get absolutely mullered every week in the national league, said we needed at least 7 new players before I will readdress that and say at least 12.

May 7, 2022 at 5:26 pm #236882If the nucleus of our team next year are these youngsters then we are going down again.
Simple as that.

May 7, 2022 at 5:28 pm #236883Did you pay this season Brassy?
May 7, 2022 at 5:34 pm #236885Getting a lot of criticism on social media for playing so many kids in a game that meant so much to other teams at the top of the division. Bet that’s done our young goalkeepers confidence the world of good.
May 7, 2022 at 5:45 pm #236892So we can expect abuse from Northampton fans can we?
Bit like the twat’s trick Wigan played on us a few years back.

May 7, 2022 at 5:53 pm #236893It would seem so
May 7, 2022 at 6:07 pm #236896And rightly so. Said before Hill as no integrity he should have respected the game. Not playing silly buggers fielding youth teams every week, who would give a youngster a league debut in such an important match, I know Hill would, bloody disgrace Hill.
May 7, 2022 at 6:19 pm #236900If Hill is not given the right budget which he hasn’t then what do we expect. It looks like the youngsters are the same standard as the experienced players.Another cock up from Swann
May 7, 2022 at 6:24 pm #236903I have sympathy with the Cobblers, but they are still a stable club with a hope of promotion. I am more worried about our future. If we use youth we will be destroyed again next season.
May 7, 2022 at 6:32 pm #236907I agree play 1 or 2 but we seem to add too it every week, we should have put our strongest available side out, if we have one, results haven’t seem to matter this last 15 games or more whether going down or not, very unfair to Northampton just like the year Wigan got Barnsley into the playoffs.

May 7, 2022 at 6:49 pm #236918He’s tried the kids over and over. Why not put all the duds and no hopers and the ‘scared of getting injured’ brigade in if it’s a no hope game. at least that way we’d have got some satisfaction of booing some of those who deserve it – then again I assume our owner wasn’t there.
