Full Back on loan from Blackpool by Radio Hull
February 1, 2021 at 9:11 pm #202129Bizarre that we’ve gone for a right back
February 1, 2021 at 9:11 pm #202130Bizarre career to say the least. He’s 22 and played one senior league game for Reading.
Blackpool bought him last January and hasn’t played in the league for them.February 1, 2021 at 9:16 pm #202131I would have thought Clarke was ample cover for Rowe.
February 1, 2021 at 9:24 pm #202132If true I would sooner have a striker.
February 1, 2021 at 9:27 pm #202133Clarke crocked long term?
February 1, 2021 at 9:32 pm #202134Clarke must be crocked but McGahey can play there no problem, don’t see the logic at all
February 1, 2021 at 9:39 pm #202135Confirmed.
February 1, 2021 at 9:42 pm #202136Maybe there was a worry our squad was getting too small.
February 1, 2021 at 9:45 pm #20213722 years old, 1 league appearance?????????????????????????
Rowe, McGahey, Hornshaw, Scunny Bunny and then Howe.
Very strange.February 1, 2021 at 9:52 pm #202138Bizarre signing
Clarke
Rowe
Mcgahey
Hornshaw at a push.Need to get out of the habit of bloating the squad unnecessarily.
February 1, 2021 at 10:14 pm #202140Just listened to Cox’s interview and he said he only wanted to bring in players that are better than what we’ve got…so I assume he doesn’t rate Rowe and he’s here as first choice right back.
Also confirmed Jem is out for two/three weeks which’ll be a big loss, but glad it’s not the usual 8 weeks!
February 1, 2021 at 10:28 pm #202141Maybe Swann thought he was getting Eddie Howe as our next manager, seeing as Cox is off to Wimbledon for a bit of inbreeding!
Strange signing indeed. Wonder who the agent is?

Makes you wonder on what evidence Cox has based his “better than we’ve got”
opinion. Smacks a bit of ‘agent speak’ unless Karacan remembers him from Reading.February 2, 2021 at 9:22 am #202144Howes dad is a director of Reading FC, so Jem would have probably known both.
February 2, 2021 at 10:58 am #202146Careful Mick, that sounds like nepotism!
February 2, 2021 at 11:55 am #202150Sounds like Swann has been golfing during lockdown
February 2, 2021 at 12:06 pm #202151More like Teddy Who? Anyway we should not judge till the lad has played a few games but like quite a few others I thought the defence would have been pretty much sorted with Taft signed up and MaGahey approaching full fitness. Does seem a strange signing.

Look on the bright side, ‘he’ misunderstands the definition of nepotism, let’s hope ‘he’ never finds ‘necrophilia’ in the dictionary! ⚰️😜
