    I’d probably like to see:

    Bilson
    Rowe
    O’ Malley
    Taft
    Davis if fit.
    Thompson
    Perry
    Beestin
    Bunn
    O’Neill
    Loft.

I expect Kenyon to be included, however – probably instead of Thompson who might yet replace O’Malley at LB.
Would happily play Wilson on the right instead of O’Neill which would make Bunn go into a more forward role.
Which of Bunn and Wilson would be more content playing on the left? – Anyone?
This line-up would clearly be bad news for Manny but Davis isn’t being made captain not to play.
Rowe has more experience at RB than Pugh.

    Thoughts?

I reckon Pugh could be in at RB and Kenyon instead of Perry.

Don’t think he’ll play both O’Malley and Thompson, so Green could feature.

    Bill’s son

    Pugh
    Taft
    Davis
    Thompson

    Green
    Beestin
    Kenyon
    Bunn

    O’Neill
    Loft

Watson, Rowe, Onariase, Hallam, Perry, Wilson, Jessop.

    Ach!
    Forgot Green!

Sorry, Devarn. You get the left side!

Don’t worry about me – it’s only a touch of old fartitude.

Aye, and I forgot to put O’Malley on the bench.

    Duh!

I’d probably go for the exact same lineup as NI. You could easily swap Pugh, Thompson, Kenyon and O’Neill for Rowe, O’Malley, Perry and Hallam and I’d still be happy. Given the latter four all played against Grantham though it’ll likely be much closer to NI’s lineup.

I know Neil wants Rowe as a CB but, at their current levels of experience, dunno if Pugh can nudge Jai out of RB.

Would anyone start with Wilson, BTW?

Nah, I’d use him as an impact player off the bench.

Don’t think Cox will leave both Kenyon and Davis out FI. Not much leadership in the lineup without one or both.

Kenyon has shown enough for me to be the closest thing we have had to a Bish since Bish so he plays all games he is fit to play in.

Perry has shown potential so far but not enough to get the nod over Kenyon or Beeston. Unless Beeston plays as a 10 (which I think might end up being his best position) then Perry will be a second half sub for now.

I probably would start Wilson instead of Green although I don’t think Cox will. Green excites with his pace and directness but continued in pre season to deliver very little with his final ball. Green is still more Dales than Holmes for me so far but still hopeful he will improve. Impact sub for me when young Wilson tires.

Only seen Davis for 45 minutes but Onariase looks more solid to me and has never let us down. Would certainly not drop Manny for someone who has not trained for the last week. I would also probably give Jessop ahead of O’Neil although that is a close one and Cox probably won’t agree.

    Bilson
    Pugh
    Onariase
    Taft
    O’Malley
    Wilson
    Kenyon
    Beeston
    Bunn
    Loft
    Jessop

Combination of much of the above.
Pugh has done enough to get the nod for me.
Onoriase is 100% fit, Davis isn’t.
    O’Malley/Thompson – toss a coin.
Kenyon (c) before Perry who again might not be 100%
Hallam might just sneak a start over O’Neill.

    Billson
    Pugh Onariase Taft O’Malley
    Bunn Beestin Kenyon Green
    Hallam Loft

Watson, Rowe, Davis, Thompson, Perry, Wilson, O’Neill

Best wishes to all supporters sincerely hope you leave the ground with a smile and boosted optimism.

In just over 24 hours from this post I will be able to read comments & opinions.

Team selection – nothing to do with me as I will not be there. But someone asked about Cam Wilson left or right. In the U18s and the few U23 games he played on the right. Early days for him, let him learn his trade where he is comfortable. But he will not let you down.

I see iFollow is back to not allowing Saturday 3pm games again. Was really hoping that would change.

Oh well I’ll have to go back to being Dutch on a Saturday afternoon.

It’s doing them and the club out of money since I won’t be going anyway. Means I’m paying 6 euros instead of a tenner.

As for the team I think Cass has it bang on.

    Joining me? ;)
I will follow on Twitter, as I will be travelling to Salzburg with my son, to visit a match (and have a little holiday)

1v0 up at half time. Perry on for oNeill during second half for a 451 and we see out the match 1v0.
Small number of fans happy with the win but most revert back to complaining!

There’ll be complaints for certain but I’d be amazed if ALL fans wouldn’t be happy with any sort of win.

Correction: we try to sit on a 1-0 lead at home AGAIN, (because this is what Cox does, either because he’s been told to, or it’s all he knows), and end up losing 1-2 to two goals given away in the last ten minutes.

In other words, same as it ever was.

I think we will be able to hold onto a lead with this team this season as it has more experienced leaders and players who seem to give 100%. But I could be wrong only time will tell!
