Seems this fella has been issued tickets for the home end at Tamworth…includes a nice mention of the sad passing of Dave the landlord of the pub in Winterton.

I managed 15 seconds watching that.
Why these attention seekers post this stuff on the internet baffles me.
Also, why anyone over the age of 16, especially guys with a fat beer gut think it’s acceptable to wear a football shirt is beyond comprehension.

Not intimating this sort of YT content is to my liking but i came across it and the guy mentioned being both in the away end at Tamworth and the landlords sad demise , i wasnt suggesting subscription
I also spotted another new channel ” Claret n Blue Army ” where some young lads had done a vid on their BMX ride to Gaindboro for the friendly….

Too much time on on line atmo as monsoon season has kicked in and its proper pissing down everyday hours on end so living / working from my office to miss the carnage… not seen or had to listen to my missus who is several hours away at home which is a bonus ..theres always a positive , miss my two Jack Russells tho i do face time zoom with them most days.

IFA shame on you, what was good enough for you should be good enough for today’s fans, bans fines or whatever, in the seventies we went in every ones home end and visa versa in the main never had the cods in the Donny road that I can recall but always went in the pontoon, I really get pissed off with people expecting fans to behave better than what we did and especially you having been in Toppo’s mad van ffs,it’s going to happen hopefully at many a game this season where we don’t get enough tickets. Tamworth average attendance last season 831 in a ground that holds 4900 biggest attendance last season 2200 that was a local derby against Nuneaton which is 15 miles away. I’ll swap my ticket for one in the home end if people can’t get one at any game I’m going to be 68 can’t imagine the home fans would want to ruffle my feathers lol.

I blame the scousers, in fairness they probably hadn’t anything to do with the segregation but it doesn’t hurt to blame them anyway.

Thought i would bring this thread back to the first page being as we are only a 3 days away from the big KO .

It seems the Ogle mullet wig will be the apparel of choice for Tamworth and the coming season… unless of course some some of the oldtimers kept their mullets from younger years as lots of flowing locks n perms a plenty when i wor a lad !!

    Prediction time ..
    Hope the weather is kind
    Line up 442
    Fitz
    Ogle,Kouogun,Evans,Kelly
    Law Scales Clunan Wilson
    Elliot Whitehall

    Att 2,899 ( 30+ mullet wigs)
    Score
    Heart 4-0 to Scunny
    Head 1-1

The mullet wigs will be about as popular as the much hyped ‘everyone wear green!’ campaign to Macc away, first match of the 2000-1 (?) season.

Hopefully the rain holds off for the hardy Iron in an open away end, where we can hopefully enjoy 3 points.

Just had a msg off a mate already in a pub near Tamworth and its stonking it down.

I replied ..its summer rain so not too cold i hope.

Sounds like its gonna be nasty in an open end , unless of course if the Iron win then it doesnt matter.

sticking with my earlier 1-1 prediction.

A hard fought 1-1 draw for me as well. This league won’t be the walkover some people think it’ll be

First away win on a Saturday since November 2020. As fromafar says, a win is a win. Just got to hope that we improve.

See how we do playing on grass next Saturday, a win is a win and it will take time to adapt but it’s a good start and plenty of food for thought for the management team. Well done guys 👏👏👏

Enjoyed Russ Wilcox commentary .. talks a good game and was spot on re the one up front formation.
i was surprised Elliot came offin a straight swap for Whitehall but Scales pushed forward more .. Butterfield added some creativity.

Aslippery 3 points but hey ho great to notch a Saturday away win after such along time without one

Being sceptical of Hilton does not equal not being happy about a win for the team, but I realise that might be a bit beyond you. Though I am pleased to see how being a ‘positive fan’ means just sniping at others and not actually saying anything positive about the result.

    Absolutely spot on.
He doesn’t offer anything to the forum, only posts he makes are sniping at other posters.
    He’s a troll.

Reality check for many people today. Awful first half performance, no idea how we equalised but it couldn’t have come at a better time.

2nd half slightly better, good subs from Dean to change the game. 100% we lose that game during the last few years.

Psychologically it will do us the world of good, move on now to the 2 home games.

Think there’s a few on here been saying we’re a striker short.

But hey, wham, bam, thank you Lambs!

First three points in the bag.

Not as miserable as someone sniping at others like this, Jerry. I am perfectly happy and those who know me can tell that. So your barbed comments are wasted.
