They lose to S Shields who move above us in the league
If Buxton nick a point at South Shields on Tuesday night and we win at Banbury it’s back up to second just a point off the top. If that’s not incentive to put in a decent away performance then I’m not sure what is. Tamworth lose back to back games, we have to kick on now.
Buxton lost to BS today, that sums up this league because they were the worst team I’ve seen at GP for some time (aside from us last few years!)
Just need to concentrate on ourselves…sort our away form out and we’ll be more than capable of winning this league.
The teams around us, ie Tamworth, Shields, and Spennymoor. Well we’ve beaten all three.
Can’t do any more than that!
It was a very good day all round for Scunny, last week we were 5 points adrift of Tanworth from the same games played, tonight we are 4 points behind with a game in hand, yes Sheilds won, but we will overtake them if we win our game in hand, also Buxton lost and Spennymoor only drew, so a good day all round.
We must go for the three points on Tuesday nihjt and that will make it a very good week.
Far to early to be looking at other teams results and they don’t matter anyway, the only team that will stop us getting top spot and that is us ourselves, all the talk around on the bus going to Boston was lets hope Tamworth slip up ffs, told them its not a man city, liverpool title run in i mean look at it now Tamworths just lost 2 on the bounce lol. If we keep on playing the way we have been away from home the best we can hope for is the playoffs not that’s a bad thing after previous seasons
Tamworth smashed Warrington 3-0 at Cantilever Park on Tuesday.
Warrington have won six of their 13 home games this season.
Tomorrow, The Lambs go to Darlo, who have just the one win from their thirteen home games this season.
Darlo 0-4 Tamworth @ 25/1
